The film clashed with 'Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes' which minted almost similar numbers at the box office. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Rajkummar Rao expressed that words of appreciation from his industry peers following the trailer release have boosted his confidence. He acknowledged that such support from his peers plays a significant role in dispelling the myth that the entertainment industry is largely insecure.
&lsquo;When something hits the right notes, everybody comes together. But otherwise, liking a film is very subjective. I might like something that another person didn&rsquo;t and vice-versa. Once in a while, however, a film comes out that meets with unanimous love from everyone in the industry,&rsquo; he said.
Shedding light on his prep for the part, Rajkummar said, &lsquo;I had no idea or clue as to how I want to approach this part. But after spending so much time with visually-impaired people and Srikanth himself, I got to learn about a lot of mannerisms I should incorporate to portray the part onscreen.&rsquo;

Recalling how much he has actually dedicated himself to playing Bolla, she recalled, &ldquo;It all started with you going to the blind school; the very next week you came home with almost a cracked rib as you were practicing blind cricket, so you thought you might as well shut the eyes and play. I didn't realise that this wasn&rsquo;t the scary part. The scary part began after a few days of your shoot. When I saw your shoulder drop, your posture began to change. I kept yelling that you don&rsquo;t have to do this. At some point, I thought you were going to go blind by not letting your eyes rest.&rdquo;
She added, "But I see you, Rajuuuu; you are just the best at what you do. You devote your body and soul to the character. I consider myself lucky to be a part of your madness and super proud of you, husband. But kabhi kabhi meri bhi sun liya karna yaar (sometimes, listen to me too).&rdquo;

A jeweller from Hyderabad has made it to the Guinness Book of World Record for using the most of number of diamonds in a ring.&nbsp;Kotti Srikanth, who owns a shop called The Diamond Store By&nbsp;Chandubhai, used 7,801 diamonds to make a flower-shaped ring and the world record. Inspired by the Brahma Kamal&nbsp;or the Brahma Lotus, the ring has been named 'The Divine -&nbsp;7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam&rsquo;. According to the official webiste of Guinness, Srikanth&nbsp;started designing this ring in 2018 and then used computer software to calculate the number of diamonds that would be required for the ring,&nbsp;

Thomas and Uber Cup cancelled due to Covid-19

The prestigious team tournament was scheduled to be held in Aarhus, Denmark from October 3 to 12 and India had even announced a 20-member contingent with PV Sindhu and Kidambi&nbsp;Srikanth&nbsp;as possible leaders of the teams.&nbsp;However, the BWF&nbsp;has decided to go ahead with the Denmark Open due be held from October 13 to 18. As top Indian shuttlers&nbsp;were unwilling to comply with standard operating procedures prescribed by the Sports Authority of India, the Badminton Association&nbsp;was forced to cancel the national camp on Thursday.&nbsp;As per the SOPs, all the players selected for the camp had to stay at the academy in a bio-secure bubble. However,&nbsp;star shuttlers&nbsp;were reluctant to stay at the site of the camp and&nbsp;wanted to come to the academy from their homes. The camp was scheduled to begin from September 7 after top badminton stars including Saina&nbsp;Nehwal, PV Sindhu&nbsp;and&nbsp;Kidambi&nbsp;Srikanth&nbsp;expressed their willingness to travel to Denmark for the upcoming Thomas and&nbsp;Uber Cup Finals.&nbsp;BAI was due to pick the squad on September 17 but despite the camp being cancelled,&nbsp;a 20-member squad was announced on September 10.&nbsp;

After over 5 months of forced break due to Covid-19, Indian badminton stars are all set to return to action soon. Top shuttlers&nbsp;including Saina&nbsp;Nehwal, PV Sindhu&nbsp;and&nbsp;Kidambi&nbsp;Srikanth&nbsp;have expressed their willingness to travel to Denmark for the&nbsp;Thomas and&nbsp;Uber Cup Finals due to be played in the first week of October. According to a report in the Times of India, the players have given their nod and the same has been communicated to the Badminton Association of India. The Indian contingent is likely to travel to Aarhus&nbsp;in the 3rd or 4th week of September and will undergo a mandatory quarantine. They will stay in a bio-secure bubble during the tournament. Interestingly, the government of Denmark has already mailed&nbsp;the visa-related documents to BAI.
