After over 5 months of forced break due to Covid-19, Indian badminton stars are all set to return to action soon. Top shuttlers including Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth have expressed their willingness to travel to Denmark for the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals due to be played in the first week of October. According to a report in the Times of India, the players have given their nod and the same has been communicated to the Badminton Association of India. The Indian contingent is likely to travel to Aarhus in the 3rd or 4th week of September and will undergo a mandatory quarantine. They will stay in a bio-secure bubble during the tournament. Interestingly, the government of Denmark has already mailed the visa-related documents to BAI.
