According to a new study by Harvard University and Mass General Brigham men with Blue-collar jobs or physically demanding jobs have almost 50% higher sperm count than those who have desk jobs or men with less physically challenging jobs.&nbsp;
For the study, the team used 950 semen samples of 377 men with average age of 36, who had been undergoing fertility treatment between 2005 and 2019. &nbsp; Among them 76% said they had light jobs with less physical exertion and only 12% of the participants had highly physical jobs; and the latter group had 46% higher sperm concentrations.&nbsp;
According to experts, earlier studies have always found physical activity whether at work or not, to have positive impact on sperm count.&nbsp;

A big threat to the existence of humans all over the world has been noted by scientists. According to a new study, sperm count in men across the world is rapidly decreasing which can not only affect fertility but can also lead to many health complications in men. &nbsp;
The team of researchers has made this claim after a study done between 2011 and 2018 which was published in the journal, Human Reproduction Update. Researchers had conducted a meta-analysis of 223 studies based on sperm samples of more than 57 thousand men from 53 countries. This included countries in South America, Asia and Africa where such a study had never been done before. For the first time, a decrease in total sperm count and sperm concentration was observed in men there.&nbsp;
According to the authors of the study, the decline in sperm count is more prevalent in India. They say that in the last 46 years, there has been a decrease of up to 50 percent in sperm count all over the world but in recent years the decline is drastic.&nbsp;
Unhealthy lifestyle and harmful chemicals present in the environment are some of the major reasons for this decline. Researchers have identified the need to promote a healthy environment and reduce this risk that endangers reproductive health. &nbsp;
