Men with physically challenging jobs have better sperm count; know what study says

According to a new study by Harvard University and Mass General Brigham men with Blue-collar jobs or physically demanding jobs have almost 50% higher sperm count than those who have desk jobs or men with less physically challenging jobs.

For the study, the team used 950 semen samples of 377 men with average age of 36, who had been undergoing fertility treatment between 2005 and 2019.
Among them 76% said they had light jobs with less physical exertion and only 12% of the participants had highly physical jobs; and the latter group had 46% higher sperm concentrations.

According to experts, earlier studies have always found physical activity whether at work or not, to have positive impact on sperm count.
