Distancing himself from the controversy, Shubh wrote, 'No matter what I do, some people will find something to bring it against me.'

Punjabi singer Shubh has issued a statement on his viral hoodie controversy from one of his concerts. He took to Instagram Stories and urged everyone to stop spreading hate.
Shubh clarified that a lot of things were thrown at him during his first show in London including clothes and jewellery. He shared that he could not see what was thrown at him or imprinted on it.
'No matter what I do, some people will find something to bring it against me. A lot of clothes, jewellery and phones were thrown at me by the audience at my first show in London. I was there to perform, not to see what got thrown at me and what is on it. The team has worked very hard for the last couple of months to perform for you all. STOP SPREADING HATE AND NEGATIVITY,' Shubh wrote.
For the unversed, Shubh faced major backlash after it was reported that the singer 'glorified Indira Gandhi's killers by wearing a hoodie with a pic and date of her assassination.' But a Free Press Journal claimed that the hoodie had a map of Punjab printed on it with a clear outline of its districts.
Kangana slammed singer
Earlier, Kangana Ranaut slammed Shubh for allegedly glorifying former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi&rsquo;s killers.
'Celebrating the cowardly killing of an old woman by those who she appointed as her saviours. When you are trusted to protect but you take advantage of the trust and faith and use the same weapons to kill the ones were suppose to protect then it&rsquo;s a shameful act of cowardice not of bravery,' Kangana wrote.
'One must be ashamed of such a cowardly attack on an elderly lady who was disarmed and unaware, a lady who was the chosen leader of a democracy, nothing to glorify here Shubham ji. Shame!!!' she added.
Earlier controversy
Shubh was earlier scheduled to perform in Mumbai as part of the Cruise Control 4.0 event, organized aboard the Cordelia Cruise. He also had a three-month-long tour in India under which he was supposed to perform in several other cities including New Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. His tour was cancelled after his alleged support to separatist Khalistani elements.

Punjabi-Canadian rapper Shubhneet Singh, who is popularly known as Shubh is at the centre of a controversy again after videos and pictures from his recent show went viral. People are sharing the videos and photographs claiming that Shubh was promoting a hoodie that showed former PM Indira Gandhi's assassination by Satwant and Beant Singh.&nbsp;
Internet users claim the incident took place during his live show in London on October 29, 2023.&nbsp;
Neither Shubh nor his team has made a statement on this so far. However, social media users reacted to the viral claim and said that they think he is a young boy with little knowledge about how politics actually works.&nbsp;
The authenticity of the videos have not be independently verified.
Shubh was earlier in the news as his Still Rollin India tour got cancelled due to his alleged support for the Khalistan cause.&nbsp;
At that time, he shared a statement on his Instagram, in which he expressed disappointment over the cancellation of his India tour.&nbsp;

A complete refund has been initiated of the ticket amount for all consumers who had purchased tickets for the show.
Shubhneet Singh, who was slated to perform in multiple locations in India, sparked an outrage shared a distorted map of India without Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab on his Instagram Stories.
'Singer Shubhneet Singh&rsquo;s Still Rollin Tour for India stands cancelled. To that end, BookMyShow has initiated a complete refund of the ticket amount for all consumers who had purchased tickets for the show. The refund will be reflected within 7-10 working days in the customer&rsquo;s source account of the original transaction,' the platform said.
BookMyShow did not comment on the ongoing outrage, but the move comes shortly after the brand boAt withdrew its sponsorship for Shubh&rsquo;s India tour.
BoAt said on X (previously known as Twitter), 'At boAt, while our commitment to the incredible music community runs deep, we are first &amp; foremost a true Indian brand. Therefore, when we became aware of the remarks made by artist Shubh earlier this year, we chose to withdraw our sponsorship from the tour.'
Shubh was scheduled to perform in Mumbai from September 23 to 25 as part of the Cruise Control 4.0 event. He had also planned a three-month-long tour in India.
