Shruti Haasan recently took to social media to call out IndiGo after her flight was delayed by four hours without any updates. The actor expressed frustration over being left stranded at the airport with no information.
She took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the &lsquo;chaos&rsquo; caused by the airline.
In her post, Shruti Haasan criticized IndiGo for failing to communicate with passengers about the delay. She wrote, &lsquo;Hey I&rsquo;m not one to normally complain but @IndiGo6E you guys really outdid yourself with the chaos today, we&rsquo;ve been stranded in the airport with no information for the past four hours &ndash; maybe figure a better way for your passengers, please? Information, courtesy, and clarity.&rsquo;
Shruti Haasan's tweet quickly went viral, with many social media users retweeting her post and criticizing the airline's customer service.
In response, IndiGo acknowledged the delay, explaining that it was due to weather conditions in Mumbai.
The airline tweeted, &lsquo;Ms Haasan, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the flight delay. We fully understand how inconvenient extended wait times can be. The delay is due to weather conditions in Mumbai, which is affecting the arrival of the operating aircraft.&rsquo;
They added, &lsquo;We hope you understand that these factors are beyond our control, and we assure you that our airport team is doing their utmost to assist customers and ensure their comfort.&rsquo;

Shruti, who hails from a Tamil background, stated, 'Ok&hellip; So This sort of micro racism is not ok And it&rsquo;s not ok when you look at us and say idli dosa sambar either. And no you don&rsquo;t imitate us well so don&rsquo;t try and be funny&rsquo;.

Shruti Haasan, who has charmed the audience with her acting skills, is the daughter of star couple Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur. She is also a playback singer who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.
Shruti started her career at the age of six as a playback vocalist in the 1992 Tamil film &lsquo;Thevar Magan&rsquo;, singing one version of &lsquo;Potri Paadadi Penne&rsquo;. She made her acting debut at the age of 14 with a special cameo role in her father's film 'Hey Ram'.
Shruti Haasan was set to make her actual acting debut in 2008 with a film opposite Madhavan, directed by Nishikant Kamat, but it was stalled before production began. She eventually signed up to feature in Soham Shah's Hindi film &lsquo;Luck&rsquo; opposite Imran Khan that released in 2009. The same year, she made her debut as a music composer in the film 'Unnaipol Oruvan'. The actor then went on to star in several Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films.
