The victim and the accused were both pursuing BA in Sociology at the university.&nbsp;

A third-year student of Shiv Nadar University in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida shot dead a female classmate inside the campus on Thursday.&nbsp;
As per India Today, the student identified as Anuj Singh killed his classmate inside the dining hall of the university. He later shot himself dead in the boys' hostel.&nbsp;
The victim and the accused were both pursuing BA in Sociology at the university.&nbsp;

Indian billionaires Gautam Adani, HCL Technologies's Shiv Nadar, and Happiest Minds Technologies' Ashok Soota are the three Indians who have been named in the 16th edition of Forbes Asia&rsquo;s Heroes of Philanthropy list which was released on Tuesday.&nbsp;
Adani was listed for having pledged Rs 60,000 crores (USD 7.7 billion) when he turned 60 in June this year. The pledge makes him one of India&rsquo;s most generous philanthropists, the press release said.
The money will address healthcare, education, and skill development and will be channelled through the family's Adani Foundation, which was founded in 1996.
Self-made billionaire and philanthropist Shiv Nadar counts among the top donors in India, having channelled close to USD 1 billion of his wealth over a few decades to various social causes through the eponymous Shiv Nadar Foundation. Tech tycoon Ashok Soota has pledged Rs 600 crore (USD 75 million) to the medical research trust he founded in April 2021 for the study of ageing and neurological illnesses. He started SKAN&mdash; Scientific Knowledge for Ageing and Neurological ailments&mdash;with a Rs 200 crore outlay, which he has since tripled.

As per the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2022, Nadar roughly donated Rs 3 crore per day.&nbsp;
77-year-old IT tycoon Nadar claimed the top spot in 2022 followed by Wipro&rsquo;s Azim Premji at the second place with an annual donation of Rs 484 crore. 3rd and 4th spots in the EdelGive Hurun India Philanthropy List were occupied by Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Aditya Birla Group's Kumar Mangalam Birla.

Among the women, Rohini Nilekani emerged as the most generous woman philanthropist with a donation of ₹120 crore. &nbsp;
According to the list, a total of 15 individuals made an annual donation of over Rs 100 crore, 20 donated over Rs 50 crore and 43 over Rs 20 crore in India this year
