Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who fell in love with each other while shooting the film &lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;, are all set to tie the knot soon in Jaisalmer. The couple&rsquo;s fans are super excited to see pics from their big fat wedding.
Ahead of their special day, &lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;s producer Shabbir Boxwala has come forward to express his excitement.
During a conversation with PinkVilla, he stated, &lsquo;I am genuinely very happy for Sidharth and Kiara. They are amazing people, and I am elated that the real-life couple from Shershaah are getting married in real life. I am sure that Vikram (Batra, played by Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah) would also be blessing them from above. I have heard their wedding is an intimate affair with only a few people in attendance, and I truly believe that&rsquo;s the most right way to go about it. I wish them lots of luck, love and blessings.&rsquo;

Tango Charlie (2005)
The Mani Shankar directorial starred Ajay Devgn, Bobby Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Tanisha, Nandana Sen, and Sudesh Berry. BSF trooper Tarun and his battalion are sent to Kargil when the war breaks out between India and Pakistan, and riots erupt in North India.

The epic war film, written, produced, and directed by J. P. Dutta, is set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. It is an adaptation of real-life events that took place during the 1971 Battle of Longewala. The biographical drama is based on freedom fighter Udham Singh’s life, who was responsible for the assassination of former lieutenant governor of Punjab, Michael O`Dwyer. Sardar Udham murdered O`Dwyer as he and his troops cruelly killed hundreds of people in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The film, which starred Vicky Kaushal in titular role, won him the IIFA Award for Best Actor.

Srivastava said, that he thought Captain Vikram Batra cutting his thumb to apply sindoor on his girlfriend Dimple Cheema's forehead was &lsquo;cooked up&rsquo;. But he added that Dimple confirmed that it actually happened.

Shershaah writer Sandeep Srivastava felt without their love story the film would be incomplete. It is through their love story, played by Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani on screen, the film captured the horrors of war, longing and loss.
Srivastava said, that he thought Captain Vikram Batra cutting his thumb to apply sindoor on his girlfriend Dimple Cheema's forehead was &lsquo;cooked up&rsquo;. But he added that Dimple confirmed that it actually happened.

In an interview, Sandeep said, that during his research he learned that Dimple knew Captain Batra for 4 years, but they spent only 40 days together. The two had planned to tie the knot, before he died. 
After Vikram's death in the Kargil war, Dimple decided that she wouldn't get married, and wanted to live the rest of her life with Vikram's memories.
Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, 'Shershaah' is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra. He died during the Kargil War in 1999.&nbsp;

Shershaah&nbsp;producer Shabbir Boxwala has revealed that Salman Khan had approached him for casting his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as Captain Vikram Batra in&nbsp;Shershaah.&nbsp;
Speaking about it, Shabbir&nbsp;said they couldn't cast&nbsp;Aayush&nbsp;in the film since&nbsp;Sidharth Malhotra had already been finalised for the role.
The producer further&nbsp;added by the time&nbsp;Salman&nbsp;approached him late Vikram Batra's family had already given their nod about Sidharth playing the war hero and a meeting had been arranged between the actor and the family.

'Major' is a bilingual film and will be a tribute to the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who became a martyr during the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Actors Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar will be seen in the lead roles and the movie is scheduled to be released this year.

'Ekkeess' is a biopic on the life of Second lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and the role will be played by Varun Dhawan. The movie was announced by Sriram Raghavan, the man behind 'Andhadhun', which got rave reviews. Second lieutenant Arun Khetarpal was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously after he sacrificed his life during the 1971 war. No release date has been announced yet.

'Shershaah' starring Siddharth&nbsp;Malhotra is based on the life of Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra. Helmed&nbsp;by&nbsp;Vishnuvardhan, the film has been produced by Dharma&nbsp;Productions.

Dharma&nbsp;Productions has announced that their upcoming war drama 'Shershaah' and said that the film will directly stream on Amazon Prime Video.&nbsp;
Sharing the news with fans on Twitter, the makers posted a teaser of the film and revealed the film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.&nbsp;
Based on the life of war hero Captain&nbsp;Vikram Batra, the film stars&nbsp;Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani in lead roles.&nbsp;
Sidharth&nbsp;will be seen essaying the role of Param Vir Chakra recipient Captain Vikram Batra in the film.
