Some good news for Raj Kundra. Supreme Court granted the businessman and husband of actor Shilpa Shetty anticipatory bail in the pornography case on Tuesday. Actors Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey are among others who were granted relief by the apex court. For the unversed, an FIR was filed against the trio for allegedly distributing pornographic videos.
&lsquo;Having heard the counsel for the parties, we are of the view that the petitioners may be granted anticipatory bail,&rsquo; a bench of Justices K M Joseph and B V Nagarathna stated, according to news agency PTI.
Senior advocate R Basant, appearing for one of the accused, reportedly said that a chargesheet has been filed in the case and the accused are cooperating with the probe. This decision comes weeks after Raj&rsquo;s plea for pre-arrest protection was rejected by the Bombay High Court.
Raj Kundra was arrested in a pornography case in July 2021 and released on bail later in the year. Raj was booked under Indian Penal Code sections 420 (cheating), 2,92 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) and sections of the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The FIR named Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey as co-accused.

Sherlyn Chopra filed a complaint against #MeToo accused and &lsquo;Bigg Boss 16&rsquo; contestant Sajid Khan at Mumbai&rsquo;s Juhu police station on October 28. She talked to a section of media stationed outside the police station and alleged that Salman Khan is backing Sajid and she is not receiving much help from the cops.
In a video, Sherlyn said, &lsquo;Sajid Khan ke sar par kisi aur nahin, Salman Khan sir ka hanth hain. Unke hontein, Sajid Khan ka koi baal tak baka nahin kar sakta hai (Sajid Khan is being protected by Salman Khan. No one can touch him).&rsquo;
&lsquo;Maine Assistant police commissioner ko call kiya and bola &lsquo;Juhu Police meri madad nahin kar rahi hain. Pata nahin kya majbori rahi hongi, upar se koi dabab ayaa hoga ki mera statement na liya jayein. The complaint has been filed to bring to notice a painful incident that took place in 2005 where she was molested. Sherlyn has also written to Union Minister Anurag Thakur to stop &lsquo;Bigg Boss 16&rsquo; telecast until Sajid is not ousted.

Sherlyn said the makers of &lsquo;Bigg Boss&rsquo; are not paying any heed to her request to remove Sajid from the house. She added that the channel does not understand the pain of women who have suffered because of him.

A few days back, Delhi Commission for Women also protested Sajid&rsquo;s participation and wrote a letter to Information and Broadcasting minister Anurag Thakur, demanding Sajid&rsquo;s ouster.

Actress-model Sherlyn Chopra, who appeared before the Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday to record her statement in connection with the porn racket&nbsp;case involving Shilpa Shetty&rsquo;s husband Raj Kundra, has now accused him of sexual assault, according to reports.
Sherlyn Chopra has alleged that in 2019,&nbsp;Raj Kundra&nbsp;showed up 'unannounced' at her place following which an argument took place between them, she went on to say that Kundra then tried to 'kiss' her even though she 'resisted'.

Actress-model Sherlyn Chopra has alleged that Raj Kundra tried to 'kiss' her even though she 'resisted'.

Actress-model Sherlyn Chopra, who appeared before the Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday to record her statement in connection with the porn racket&nbsp;case involving Shilpa Shetty&rsquo;s husband Raj Kundra, has now accused him of sexual assault, according to reports.
Sherlyn Chopra has alleged that in 2019,&nbsp;Raj Kundra&nbsp;showed up 'unannounced' at her place following which an argument took place between them, she went on to say that Kundra then tried to 'kiss' her even though she 'resisted'.
Sherlyn also said that she told&nbsp;Kundra&nbsp;that she didn't want to get involved with a married man or mix business with pleasure, to which Raj said that his relationship with his wife Shilpa Shetty was complicated and he was stressed most of the time at home.
Sherlyn further added that she asked him to stop as she was scared and after a while, she managed to push him and rush into the washroom.
Raj Kundra, who is currently in 14-day judicial custody, was denied of a bail by the lower court on Wednesday.

As the&nbsp;NCB widens its probe into&nbsp;Bollywood's&nbsp;drug nexus, actress Sherlyn&nbsp;Chopra has revealed shocking details about the usage of drugs at&nbsp;IPL&nbsp;after-parties.&nbsp;
In an interview to ABP&nbsp;News, Sherlyn&nbsp;said that&nbsp;she saw wives of cricketers&nbsp;and actors using cocaine at an IPL after-party in Kolkata, after a KKR&nbsp;match.
Citing that such drug parties go on one after another,&nbsp;Sherlyn&nbsp;said she was shocked when she allegedly&nbsp;saw&nbsp;star-wives snorting cocaine in the ladies washroom.
She further said that she is ready to help the NCB if summoned for questioning.
