Soon after the video circulated, it divided the netizens with some calling it Sharif's 'awkward not embarassing moment.' A user remarked it as a generational gap adding that Pakistan PM's league of individuals struggle with technology.
Another user questioned why there the premiers of nation could not speak in a common language.
Visibly consicous Sharif in the video is seen fixing the headphones which kep falling from behind his ear. After several failed attempts, he asks, " Can somebody help me?"

Pakistan’s state-run PTV has suspended 17 officials for failing to ensure “proper” coverage of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Lahore visit due to the non-availability of an advanced laptop.
The newly-elected Prime Minister visited Kot Lakhpat Jail and Ramazan Bazaars in Lahore last week.
However, a Pakistan Television (PTV) team failed to ensure “proper” coverage due to the non-availability of an advanced laptop required to upload the video footage through File Transfer Protocol (FTP), the Dawn newspaper reported.
As per the standard operating procedures, a VVIP team comprising reporters and producers is responsible for the coverage of the prime minister. The team is equipped with the latest gadgets, including laptops for live streaming and timely uploading of the footage of any event, the report said.
The core team is stationed in Islamabad and moves with the Prime Minister across the country and abroad, it said.
When the PTV Lahore centre was informed about the visit, it asked the PTV headquarters to provide an advanced laptop, it said.
Earlier on April 18 also, the Lahore centre wrote a letter to the headquarters saying: “Since we don’t have any laptop editing facility at the Lahore centre, we hired a laptop with the editing facility… but as a permanent arrangement we must own the same facility at the centre.” However, the state-run TV did not pay any attention and suggested hiring one again.
At this, the Lahore centre arranged the personal laptop of an official. After coverage, when the team tried to transmit the footage, it found the battery of the laptop had drained.
Next day, the PTV administration suspended a total of 17 officials, including the VVIP coverage deputy controller Imran Bashir Khan.
In addition, the administration suspended various engineers and cameramen over the alleged neglect.
The suspended employees claimed that they had been scapegoated by the administration appointed by the previous regime in order to save the bigwigs, the report added

The Express Tribune newspaper reported that he has been issued a passport by the new government headed by his younger brother, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Last year, his passport had expired and it was never renewed by the government of Khan, making it impossible for him to leave London.
The nature of the passport issued to Nawaz Sharif is “ordinary” and it was made in the “urgent” category, Geo News reported.
The passport was issued in Islamabad on April 23, 2022, it said.
As per the Interior Ministry, the former premier was issued a passport with a 10-year validity, The Express Tribune newspaper reported.
On Tuesday, Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah had said that a diplomatic passport was Nawaz Sharif’s right and will be issued to him soon.
He had said: “it is unfortunate that a person who has been prime minister three times is being deprived of national citizenship.” The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had also declared a petition challenging the issuance of a diplomatic passport to former premier as inadmissible, and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 (USD 26) on the petitioner.
Earlier this month, PML-N leader Javed Latif had claimed that Nawaz Sharif was expected to be back in Pakistan after Eid in May first week.
