Netizens were transported to KK&rsquo;s musical world as Shaan sang his melodies. While several fans and music lovers lauded Shaan for remembering the late singer, the video clip left several fans teary-eyed.&nbsp;

Shaan and KK collaborated over 25 songs together including &lsquo;Dus Bahaane&rsquo;, &lsquo;It&rsquo;s Time To Disco&rsquo; and &lsquo;Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe&rsquo;. Both the singers began their careers at almost same time. KK made his debut as playback singer in Bollywood with superhit &lsquo;Tadap Tadap&rsquo; from &lsquo;Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam&rsquo;. The singer passed away on May 31, 2022 after suffering a heart attack during a live concert in Kolkata. &nbsp;

He had shared a photo of himself wearing a skullcap, captioned, &lsquo;Eid Mubarak to You and Your Family&rsquo;. The singer later shared a video to explain his Eid post and urged people not to attack people like him, who respect all religions.
Now, Pakistani actor Anoushay Ashraf has come out in support of Shaan. She said that she was 'sorry for the backlash' the singer suffered for his Eid wishes. Sharing a news article about Shaan hitting back at trolls, she tweeted, &lsquo;Dear Shaan, we can't wish Merry Christmas without getting hate too.

Singer Shaan shared a letter from the Indian Singers Rights&rsquo; Association (ISRA) on Instagram, seeking government intervention in the recent Sonu Nigam selfie scuffle incident. He said that he&rsquo;s &lsquo;appalled and disgusted&rsquo; at what happened in Mumbai, a city known for its law and order, and safety.
The official letter from ISRA read, &lsquo;We are deeply aggrieved to know about the serious attack on our legendary singer Sonu Nigam and his team at a musical event in Chembur yesterday night. It is a matter of shame that an idolized artist was manhandled. All Singers of the country are in shock and are concerned about this incident. We therefore request the Govt of Maharashtra and law enforcement agencies to take serious note about this to try to ensure that such incidents are not repeated with any Singers / Artist whatsoever.

The accused were allegedly forcing the singer to pose for selfies. One of the accused has been identified as Swapnil Phaterpekar, son of a Shiv Sena MLA.
Following the incident, Sonu filed a complaint based on which the Chembur police registered an FIR against Swapnil under Indian Penal Code Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
