According to some reports, Apple might start designing their own displays

Apple plans to design and use its own custom displays for mobile devices such as iPhones and Apple Watches starting in 2024. According to a Bloomberg report, the move is a part of the company's larger effort to decrease its reliance on third-party component suppliers and increase its use of in-house components.&nbsp;
The transition to using these new displays will begin with the high-end Apple Watch Ultra, which may adopt microLED display technology. Apple plans to eventually expand the use of these custom displays to other devices, including future iPhones.
&nbsp;It is worth noting that while the displays will still be manufactured by outside suppliers, they will be designed by Apple, similar to their approach with chips.&nbsp; &nbsp; Additionally, this initiative is in line with the company's trend of in-house development, as it has already begun using in-house components for chips and reports suggest that the company is working on in-house modems and wireless components.

Ways to protect our skin from these rays:&nbsp;

<li>Tinted sunscreens that&rsquo;s used for protecting skin from UV rays can also be used for protection from blue light rays. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Cover your devices with anti-blue light screen guards that you can easily buy online. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Go to your device&rsquo;s settings and change it to night mode permanently or to &lsquo;eye comfort shield&rsquo; available in some devices. This comparatively reduces the effects of blue light rays.&nbsp;</li>

Reports say display supplier BOE will soon start manufacturing OLED panels for Apple's iPhone 12 series.

Reports say display supplier BOE, formerly known as Beijing Oriental Electronics, will soon start manufacturing OLED panels for Apple's iPhone 12 series. While rumours said BOE was being chosen as the third supplier alongside Samsung and LG, reports said quality control issues initially left BOE out of the picture. However, according to industry analysts, the firm has received certification, and will be making OLED displays for all models in the iPhone 12 range of smartphones.

Motorola has taken the wraps off its second-generation Razr foldable phone that looks like its predecessor but has been updated with 5G as well as better cameras and processor. The Moto Razr 5G features a 6.2-inch plastic OLED display on the inside and a 2.7-inch glass OLED secondary screen for notifications and basic functions. There&rsquo;s a Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Moto Razr 5G gets a 20MP selfie camera, a 48MP camera with laser autofocus and OIS as well as a 2,800 mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The Moto Razr 5G is priced at $1,400 and will first arrive in China and select European market this fall.
