Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza said that not treating the sport as her everything gave her the freedom to unleash her aggressive game every time she stepped on the court.
Sania said she never had the fear of losing in her heart because it makes a player defensive.
In an exclusive interview with PTI, Sania said. "Tennis was always and is always going to be a very, very large and big and important part of my life, but it is not my entire life. And that is the mindset I went with, even as a young girl and as a professional athlete. The worst that can happen is that you can lose a tennis match and then come back and try again."
The 36-year-old, a former doubles World No. 1 player, is also the highest-ranked Indian female player ever, who achieved a world ranking of 27 in mid-2007.

A recent study has revealed that harmful chemicals present in sanitary pads may increase the risk of cancer and infertility in women.

While sanitary pads have often been criticised for being harmful for the environment, a new study has revealed that they may have serious health implications too.&nbsp;
According to a study conducted by an NGO named Toxic Link, chemicals present in a sanitary pad may increase the risk of cancer and infertility in a woman.
As per the research, sanitary pads, the most commonly used product include toxic chemicals like carcinogens, reproductive toxins, endocrine disruptors and allergens, which can be extremely harmful to health.
The study was done on ten sanitary pad brands which are most commonly available across India and traces of phthalates and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were found in all of the samples that have the potential to cause cancer. &nbsp;
National Family Health Survey has revealed that around 64 per cent of women aged 15 to 24 in India use sanitary pads. In November 2020, the Scottish parliament unanimously voted for the Period Products Bill which binds schools, colleges, and universities to provide free sanitary products for students in their toilets. In its present form, the bill -- based on Period Products in Schools (Scotland) Regulations -- has gone further in placing a legal mandate on ministers to ensure access to such products by all.
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon welcomed the decision on social media and said, "Proud to vote for this groundbreaking legislation, making Scotland the first country in the world to provide free period products for all who need them. An important policy for women and girls."

The machine, called Padcare, is capable of separating cellulose drain and plastic from used napkins and makes them available for recycling.
Speaking to news agency ANI Dahiya said, they have installed specially developed dustbins called Sanibins that can store used sanitary napkins for 30-45 days and disinfect them. These pads are then collected from the dustbins on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and then put into the Padcare machines.
Data accessed by Dahiya and his team reveals that out of 12 billion used sanitary napkins generated in India each year, 98% ends up in landfills or water bodies. The team even designed household decorative items with the recycled material.
