The incident happened at 4.30 am on Friday in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city. Four masked men entered Pushpendra Mittal Agarwal's house carrying weapons, beat up the sleeping people, and tied them with rope while carrying out the robbery. The family consists of &nbsp;Agarwal, his wife, and their two children.&nbsp;
The family then somehow untied themselves and contacted the police after the burglars left their house.
Amar Ujala news outlet reported that on the instructions of the Indore Commissioner, three teams from the Crime Branch were formed. They have found the car in Dhar city&nbsp;while a search is on to locate the thieves.&nbsp;

The robbers came through the building&rsquo;s terrace and made their way to the strongroom on the ground floor, NDTV reported citing officials. The trio then drilled a hole through the vault to access the gold.

CCTV footage has caught three men robbing about ₹40 lakhs from a biker's bag at a traffic signal near Delhi's Red Fort in broad daylight. Of the three, two men have been arrested, police said.
The March 1 clip shows the three accused following the biker and sneaking out the amount in the middle of heavy traffic with pedestrians walking.

Police added that they have recovered ₹ 38 lakhs from the accused who have been identified as Aakash and Abhishek.

Two women police constables from Bihar's Gajipur district are being lauded for thwarting a robbery attempt.&nbsp; A senior police official told NDTV that the women will be rewarded for their courage.
The incident took place in broad daylight at Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank in Senduari Chowk where Juhi Kumari and Shanti Kumari were deployed.
The CCTV footage shows the two accused entering the bank and interacting with the women. When asked to show their documents, one of the two accused drew his pistol and charged at the police personnel which followed a scuffle.
As per an NDTV report, the robbers eventually fled the scene after being intimidated by the female constables and did not rob the bank.
Juhi who sustained injuries in the incident was about to shoot the robbers before they ran away to save their life, the report added. Search is on for the two accused, and a probe has been launched for the attempted robbery.

A security guard was killed after allegedly being shot by an unidentified man during a robbery attempt in north Delhi's Wazirabad area, police said on Tuesday.

A security guard was killed after allegedly being shot by an unidentified man during a robbery attempt in north Delhi's Wazirabad area, police said on Tuesday.
They said the incident took place at an ICICI Bank ATM kiosk near Jagatpur flyover and the matter was reported to the police around 5 pm.
The victim has been identified as Jai Singh (55).
The incident occurred when the 4.50-pm cash van arrived at the ATM to deposit cash at the kiosk. Just then, a person came from behind and fired at the cash van guard and fled with the money, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi.
It is suspected that the accused took off with an estimated Rs 8 lakh, he said.
The injured guard was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Multiple teams have been formed and footage from CCTV cameras in the area are being scanned to identify the accused and ascertain the sequence of events, the police said.

A Lebanese parliamentarian on Wednesday entered a bank branch near Beirut, demanding some of her trapped savings to cover medical expenses.
Cash-strapped Lebanon in recent weeks has witnessed a surge in depositors storming bank branches to forcefully withdraw their locked savings as the country's economy continues to spiral. On Tuesday, depositors stormed at least four banks, two of which were armed.
Lebanon's cash-strapped banks have imposed informal limits on cash withdrawals since late 2019. Since then, three-quarters of the population plunged into poverty, and the Lebanese pound lost some 90 per cent of its value against the dollar.
Beirut legislator Cynthia Zarazir entered a Byblos Bank branch near the capital, demanding USD 8,500 from her savings to cover expenses for a surgery.
The reformist lawmaker arrived with a lawyer, and for several hours has been negotiating with the bank branch's management.
“I am a Lebanese citizen demanding my rights in light of this exceptional situation,” Zarazir told the press and bystanders.
Her lawyer Fouad Debs, a member of legal and advocacy group the Depositors' Union, told The Associated Press that negotiations are ongoing, and that she has rejected a “ridiculous” proposal to withdraw her savings in Lebanese pounds at a fraction of its dollar value.
Meanwhile, dozens of protesters scuffled with riot police near at the Central Bank's headquarters in Beirut.
And in Byblos, a man fired an assault rifle at the glass facade of a bank branch, after employees did not let him in without an appointment.
The general public has commended the bank heists, some even hailing the perpetrators as heroes.
Among the most notable cases was Sally Hafez, who last month stormed a Beirut bank branch with a fake pistol and gasoline canister to take some USD 13,000 to fund her 23- year-old sister's cancer treatment.
The banks meanwhile have condemned the angry depositors' actions, and said in a statement Tuesday that the Lebanese government is primarily to blame for the crisis. Last month, the banks closed for a week after at least seven banks were raided, and have since only partially reopened.
Debs, who alongside the Depositors' Union has tried to help depositors unlock their trapped savings, said that the situation is no longer bearable and that Lebanon needs to reform its economy to become viable again.
“What we want is a collective solution which would be through a recovery plan that's fair, comprehensive, transparent, and includes the restructuring of the banks and public debt,” Debs told the AP, adding that the politicians and bankers should be held accountable for the crisis.
Lebanon for over two years has been struggling to reach an agreement with the International Monetary Fund for a bailout program. The country's government and divided parliament have stalled over about a dozen mandatory reforms ever since they reached a tentative agreement in April, including restructuring its banks, implementing formal capital controls, and reforming its outdated bank secrecy laws. The United Nations and IMF have both criticized Lebanon for its sluggish progress.

It is said that actions have consequences. A group of thieves stole 16 idols worth several crores from a temple in Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot but the consequences of their actions supposedly visited them in their sleep as nightmares forcing them to return the loot. 
According to the police, 16 'ashtadhatu' idols or idols made out of 8 metals worth crores were stolen from an ancient Balaji temple on the night of May 9 and the priest had lodged an FIR against unknown people. 
On Sunday night, 14 out of the 16 idols were found near the residence of the temple priest, according to police.
The priest also found a letter with the sack in which the thieves had written that they were having scary dreams at night and they are returning the idols due to fear.

The video of an incident shows that a group of 4 men who were all masked, wore helmets, and carried assault rifles with them were robbing the Chanel shop and nearby jewelry shops at Rue de la Paix, close to Place Vendome.Three of them were inside the store, while the fourth stayed outside the store with an automatic gun slung over his chest. The burglars casually exited the store with filled bags and fled on two motorbikes even while runners and traffic continued to pass by at a normal rate.The entire incident was fully planned and it took burglars only 10 minutes to rob everything. Following the incident, police cordoned off the area shortly and the store will be closed temporarily.

In an unusual crime, a group of men allegedly stole a 60-foot-long steel bridge, weighing 500 tons.&nbsp;The crime reportedly occurred in Bihar's Sasaram.
The bridge was built over&nbsp;Arrah canal in Amiyawar village in Nasriganj police station area in 1972, as per a PTI report.
The thieves allegedly posed as Irrigation Department officials and brought gas-cutters and earthmovers to perpetrate their crime over 3 days.&nbsp;Police have filed a case and alerted scrap dealers in the area.

 In an unusual crime, a group of men allegedly stole a 60-foot-long steel bridge, weighing 500 tons. The crime reportedly occurred in Bihar's Sasaram. The bridge was built over&nbsp;Arrah canal in Amiyawar village in Nasriganj police station area in 1972, as per a PTI report. The thieves allegedly posed as Irrigation Department officials and brought gas-cutters and earthmovers to perpetrate their crime over 3 days. Police have filed a case and alerted scrap dealers in the area. A resident told news agency PTI that the bridge had been declared dangerous some time ago, and a nearby concrete bridge was used by locals.

A hole drilled in the wall of a temple by a thief to allow him escape after stealing oranments from the idols turned out to be the reason he got caught. 
R Papa Rao from Andhra's Srikakulam was trying to escape after stealing ornaments from the Jami Ellama temple but he got stuck in the hole at the waist. 
His cries for help alerted the locals who ultimately called the police after being unable to pull him out.
