The special premiere of the Karan Johar directorial was held in Mumbai on July 25th evening. Many celebrities including Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora, and Neetu Kapoor attended the screening.

Sharing the feedback he received from Ranbir Kapoor for his performance in the film, Ranveer Singh said, it is &lsquo;lovely to hear from somebody whose craft I admire so much&rsquo;.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer &lsquo;Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani&rsquo; is now in theatres. Ahead of its release, the lead stars were in Chandigarh to promote their film. During an event, Ranveer revealed that he received words of appreciation from Alia&rsquo;s husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor for the film which meant a lot to him. He said, &lsquo;The other day Ranbir saw our film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with us, it was so lovely to hear from somebody whose craft I admire so much. He was like &lsquo;It&rsquo;s not that you&rsquo;ve played Delhi guy before but there was absolutely no similarity&rsquo;.Ranbir was really appreciative&rsquo; For the unversed, Ranveer had played a Delhi resident in his debut film &lsquo;Band Baaja Baarat&rsquo; which was released in 2010. Actor Ranbir Kapoor is back on the set of his next film &lsquo;Animal&rsquo;. He was recently spotted shooting in a hospital for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna.
In a small clip from the sets is being widely shared on Twitter in which Ranbir can be seen in a blue hospital gown as he heads towards the lift. Ranbir has a huge beard and unkempt long hair. Fans love Ranbir&rsquo;s new rugged avatar, a few even feel he resembles Shahid Kapoor&rsquo;s character in &lsquo;Kabir Singh&rsquo;, which was also directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
