Domestic staff of Aishwarya Rajinikanth have been arrested for stealing gold, silver jewelry articles from her Chennai home.

The domestic help and driver of superstar Rajinikanth&rsquo;s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth have been arrested for stealing jewellery from her Chennai home. She had filed a police complaint stating gold and diamond jewellery worth ₹3.60 lakh was missing from her locker at home on Monday.
News agency PTI reported that around 100 sovereigns of gold jewellery, 30 grams of diamond jewellery and four kilograms of silver articles were stolen from the filmmaker&rsquo;s home. The police also said that the maid sold the jewellery to buy a house and some other articles.
According to reports, the maid had been working at Aishwarya&rsquo;s home for 18 years and was aware of the ins and outs of her household. The articles have been stolen over a period of several days. The stolen articles and property purchase documents were recovered from the maid&rsquo;s home.
The FIR stated that the filmmaker had last worn her jewelry to her younger sister Soundarya&rsquo;s wedding in 2019 and since then it was kept in locker which was moved from her ex-husband Dhanush&rsquo;s apartment to her father Rajinikanth&rsquo;s place.
Aishwarya and Dhanush parted ways in January 2022. They have two children, sons Yatra and Linga. She is currently occupied with the shoot of &lsquo;Lal Salaam.&rsquo; The film is said to have an extended cameo by her father Rajinikanth.

According to the same report, Aishwaryaa claimed that she has her driver Venkat and maids Eashwari and Lakshmi on notice. They frequently dropped by her St. Mary's apartment while she was away.

After realizing that her pricey jewels were missing, she made a police report last month. 60 sovereigns of gold jewellery, valued at Rs. 3.60 lakh, were reportedly stolen. The theft is being looked into by the Teynampet police.
Aishwaryaa claimed in her complaint that the last time she wore the jewelry was to her sister Soundarya's wedding in 2019. The jewellery was then stored in a locker that was moved three times in 2021. Apparently, her housekeepers were informed of this as well.
Aishwaryaa stated that the keys to her locker remained in her residence in St Mary's Road, Chennai, even when it was moved to her estranged husband Dhanush's CIT Nagar home and then to her house in Poes Garden.
When Aishwaryaa opened the locker and noticed her jewellery was missing, she immediately filed an FIR. She claimed that ever since her marriage to superstar Dhanush, she had been gathering the pieces. According to India Today, items worth nearly 60 sovereigns in gold, including bangles, Navaratnam sets, diamond sets, and antique gold pieces were taken from Rajinikanth's daughter's locker.
According to the same report, Aishwaryaa claimed that she has her driver Venkat and maids Eashwari and Lakshmi on notice. They frequently dropped by her St. Mary's apartment while she was away.
The Teynampet Police has opened an investigation and filed a case under section 381 of the IPC.

This film will be directed by TJ Gnanavel, will have music by "Rockstar" Anirudh and produced by Subaskaran. We are further happy to inform that the sholar of the film will commence soon under the leadership of GKM Tamil Kumaran and will be ready for release in 2024.&rsquo;
They also wrote in the caption, &lsquo;We are feeling honoured to announce our next association with Superstar @rajinikanth for#Thalaivar170. Directed by critically acclaimed @tjgnan. Music by the sensational &ldquo;Rockstar&rdquo;@anirudhofficial (sic).&rsquo;

A video of Rajinikanth&rsquo;s car being mobbed by fans outside Jaisalmer fort has surfaced on social media. A few people went near his car to click a selfie, while some also requested him to come out of the vehicle if possible.

Actor Jackie Shroff has joined the cast of Rajinikanth starrer &lsquo;Jailer&rsquo;. The makers shared his first look poster on social media on Sunday to announce the news. Sun Pictures posted on Twitter, &lsquo;Jackie Shroff from the sets of #Jailer.&rsquo;
The actor also shared the same on social media and his wife Ayesha Shroff was quick to react to the post. She wrote, &lsquo;Faaaaaab jugs&rsquo;.
Earlier, Tamannaah Bhatia, Telugu comedian Sunil and actor Mohanlal&rsquo;s looks were shared by the makers.
&lsquo;Jailer&rsquo; also stars Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Malayalam actor Vinayakan, among others. Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar will make cameos in the film.
On Rajinikanth&rsquo;s birthday, a special teaser of the movie was released and the makers introduced his character, Muthuvel Pandian. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, will mark the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and Mohanlal.

SS Rajamouli&rsquo;s magnum opus &lsquo;RRR&rsquo;, which was released in Japan on October 21, has now become the highest-grossing Indian film in the country. Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer has overtaken Rajinikanth&rsquo;s &lsquo;Muthu&rsquo;, which held the record for two decades.
&lsquo;RRR&rsquo; was released on 209 screens and 31 Imax screens across 44 cities and prefectures in Japan. As per a reported by Tollywood.net, the film has crossed JPY400 million (around ₹24 crores) to claim the top spot.
Meanwhile, the film which is gearing up its campaign for the Golden Globes and Academy Awards has won another prestigious award. Composer MM Keeravani won Best Original Score at the Boston Society of Film Critics on Sunday night.
Taking to Twitter, Boston Society of Film Critics Circle wrote, &lsquo;WINNER, Best Original Score: RRR (by M. M. Keeravani), Runner Up: WOMEN TALKING (by Hildur Gu&eth;nad&oacute;ttir)&rsquo;

The 70-year old actor was in Delhi days ago to receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He had also visited President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital before returning to Chennai on Wednesday.
The veteran actor, who used to work as a bus conductor before entering film industry, dedicated the Dadasaheb Phalke Award to his old bus driver friend, who suggested that he join films.
In July this year, Rajinikanth dissolved his outfit Rajini Makkal Mandram and quit politics citing health worries.

Reports say the 'Darbar' actor&nbsp;is visiting his doctors at the Mayo Clinic for a general health check-up. He&nbsp;is also&nbsp;expected to&nbsp;undergo a few tests there in the next few weeks and will return to India on July 8.
