Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday joined her brother and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in the ongoing 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar's Supaul.
Vadra and Gandhi, along with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and other representatives of the INDIA bloc, were seen sitting on the roof of an SUV, which was moving slowly, as they waved at an enthusiastic crowd.
The yatra resumed on Tuesday after a break for a day.
Addressing a press conference in Araria on Sunday, Rahul Gandhi asserted that all the INDIA bloc constituents in Bihar were working unitedly for the upcoming assembly polls and that the results will be fruitful.
"The INDIA bloc will soon come out with a common manifesto for the Bihar assembly polls. All constituents of the opposition alliance are working unitedly... we are both ideologically and politically aligned... mutually respecting each other, and the results would be fruitful," Gandhi said.
"I call it a good partnership among all constituents of the INDIA bloc," he had said.
Launching a scathing attack on the NDA government at the Centre, Gandhi had alleged that the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the eastern state was "an institutionalised attempt by the Election Commission to steal votes to help the BJP".
Gandhi launched the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra', supported by all INDIA bloc constituents, against the Election Commission's special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.
The 16-day yatra, which began on August 17 from Sasaram, will conclude with a rally in Patna on September 1 before covering over 1,300 km across the state, where assembly elections are due later this year.
The yatra has so far covered Gayaji, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Munger, Katihar and Purnea districts. Further, it will pass through Madhubani, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, West Champaran, Saran, Bhojpur and Patna districts.

She said her brother has the highest respect for the Army and will never say anything against it. As the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, it is Rahul Gandhi's duty to ask questions of the government, the Wayanad MP said.
The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the proceedings against Gandhi before a Lucknow court over his remarks about the Army during his December 2022 Bharat Jodo Yatra. The top court, however, censured the Congress leader, saying if he is a true Indian, he would not say such a thing.
Asked about the top court's observations, Priyanka Gandhi told reporters at the Parliament House complex, "With due respect to the honourable judges of the Supreme Court, they do not decide who is a true Indian. It is the job of the opposition leader, it is his duty to ask questions and to challenge the government." "My brother would never say anything against the Army. He holds the Army in the highest respect. So it is a misinterpretation (of his remarks)," she said.
The BJP on Monday took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, saying he has vowed to "strengthen China", while the Congress asserted that every patriotic Indian has sought answers since the Galwan incident but the government has chosen to "obfuscate" the truth with its policy of "DDLJ -- deny, distract, lie, and justify".

Sukhdeo Bhagat and Randeep Surjewala are the Congress' other choices for the joint committee of Parliament. Saket Gokhale of the TMC and T M Selvaganapathi of the DMK are also expected to be part of the panel.
The sources said P P Chaudhary is also being considered as the probable BJP choice for the panel in which the saffron party and its allies will be in a majority due to their numerical superiority in Parliament.
While Prasad, a well known lawyer, has held the portfolio of law minister in the previous Modi government, Chaudhary was a deputy minister in the crucial ministry.
From the Telugu Desam Party, the BJP's biggest ally, either Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu or G M Harish Balayogi is likely to be in the panel.
The two 'one nation, one election' (ONOE) bills, including one requiring an amendment in the Constitution, lay down the mechanism to hold simultaneous elections and were introduced in Lok Sabha on Tuesday after a fiery debate.
Opposition parties dubbed the draft laws -- a Constitution amendment bill and an ordinary bill -- as an attack on the federal structure, a charge rejected by the government.
Speaking to reporters on the Parliament premises, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi had termed the bills "anti-constitutional".
"It is against the federalism of our nation. We are opposing the bill," she had said.
The BJP and its allies such as the TDP, JD(U) and Shiv Sena have stoutly defended the bills, saying frequent elections are an obstruction to development programmes and simultaneous polls will boost them by cutting down on election expenditure.

I have seen my mother going to eye camps and putting medicine in the eyes of children. She would also go to camps for the disabled. She would give pension to everyone. If there was any problem in the village, she would reach there immediately. But your MP is nowhere to be seen, except on TVs," she said on Tuesday.
"And there, she only abuses my family and doesn't talk about Amethi and its issues. Under Modi and her rule, unemployment is the highest in 45 years, 70 crore people are unemployed and around 30 lakh government positions are vacant. Do you (Irani) have any answer? Amethi people are reeling from inflation. Does she have any answer?"

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he said that he never indulged in 'Hindu-Musalmaan' politics.
She was talking about Modi's clarification in an interview with Network 18 that he never meant &nbsp;Muslims while talking about "infiltrators".
"The truth of this country is that the politics that dominate this country is the politics of lies. Their (BJP) leaders tell lies, they are cowards. They make contradictory statements. In every rally, they do Hindu-Muslim. And now, the prime minister of India sitting in Varanasi denies doing Hindu-Muslim."
For the past 10 years, he has been playing the Hindu-Muslim card. Wherever he conducts his rally, he does Hindu-Muslim. It is time to be vigilant. Every Hindu and Muslim should be vigilant. You are being misled. Votes are being sought in the name of God but work is not being done in the name of God."
Gandhi challenged Modi to fight the 2024 general elections on pressing issues like unemployment and inflation, instead of doing Hindu-Muslim.
"They don't have any policies to remove your hunger. Modi travels in big planes, but when he meets you, he goes back making the same statements. I challenge him to fight elections on unemployment and inflation and his policies.&nbsp;
Earlier in the interview on Tuesday, Modi, after ing his nomination for UP's Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, said that the day he resorted to such methods, "us din main sarvyajanik jeevan me rehne yogya nahin rahunga (I won't be fit for public life)".&nbsp;
"I am shocked. Who told you that whenever one talks of people with more children, the inference is they are Muslims? Why are you so unjust towards Muslims?" Modi said. "Main 'Hindu-Mussalman' nahin karunga; yeh mera sankalp hai (I won't play 'Hindu-Muslim' card; that's my vow)."

Speaking to reporters in Amethi on Monday, Priyanka Gandhi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held rallies and roadshows, but never really interacted with the public.
When asked about Modi's massive roadshow in his constituency Varanasi, Gandhi mocked the BJP leader's practice of waving to the masses. "Waving from the top of a vehicle does not count as interacting with the people," Gandhi said.
She went on invoke her father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, and recalled how he used to walk through villages to speak to his constituents and understand their problems.&nbsp; &nbsp;
