<p>Days after actor-model Poonam Pandey faked her death, it has been reported that a lawsuit of Rs 100 crore has been filed against her and her estranged husband Sam Bombay.</p>
<p>As per Times of India, an individual named Faizan Ansari filed an FIR with Kanpur police, alleging Poonam and Sam conspired to fake her death, undermining cancer's seriousness and playing with people's emotions. He demanded their arrest and appearance in a Kanpur court.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Poonam Pandey and her husband Sameer Bombay have fabricated a false conspiracy of death. Along with this, they have made a joke out of diseases like cancer. Poonam orchestrated the drama for publicity and played with the emotions of millions of Indians and the Bollywood film industry,&rsquo; read a part of an FIR published by TOI. In the same report, Faizan Ansari also mentioned his intention to file a lawsuit against them for ₹100 crore.</p>

<p>For those unaware, on February 2, Poonam grabbed attention when her official Instagram account posted about her supposed death from cervical cancer. Her manager also confirmed this. However, a day later, Poonam returned on Instagram, admitting she faked her death to raise awareness about cervical cancer.</p>
<p>In an Instagram video, she said, &lsquo;I am alive. I didn't die of cervical cancer. Unfortunately, I can't say that about those hundreds and thousands of women who have lost their lives because of cervical cancer.' She went on to talk about the disease.</p>
<p>Sharing the video, Poonam wrote, 'I feel compelled to share something significant with you all - I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn&rsquo;t claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease.&rsquo;</p>
<p>The stunt happened a day after the government announced plans to include the HPV vaccine for girls aged 9-14 in the immunization program. Additionally, All India Cine Workers filed an FIR against Poonam for the stunt.</p>

Later stages are generally managed with radiation, chemotherapy and Immunotherapy."</p>
<p>"While there is no sure shot way to avoid the cancer, regular PAP smear tests, test for HPV, taking HPV vaccination and regular use of condoms."</p>
<p>Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1 also announced the government's initiative to promote cervical cancer vaccination among girls aged 9 to 14.</p>

<p>Anticipatory bail was granted by Supreme Court to Raj Kundra in a pornography case on Tuesday. Actors Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey also were granted relief by the apex court</p>

<p>Some good news for Raj Kundra. Supreme Court granted the businessman and husband of actor Shilpa Shetty anticipatory bail in the pornography case on Tuesday. Actors Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey are among others who were granted relief by the apex court.<br>For the unversed, an FIR was filed against the trio for allegedly distributing pornographic videos.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Having heard the counsel for the parties, we are of the view that the petitioners may be granted anticipatory bail,&rsquo; a bench of Justices K M Joseph and B V Nagarathna stated, according to news agency PTI.</p>
<p>Senior advocate R Basant, appearing for one of the accused, reportedly said that a chargesheet has been filed in the case and the accused are cooperating with the probe.<br>This decision comes weeks after Raj&rsquo;s plea for pre-arrest protection was rejected by the Bombay High Court.</p>
<p>Raj Kundra was arrested in a pornography case in July 2021 and released on bail later in the year. Raj was booked under Indian Penal Code sections 420 (cheating), 2,92 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) and sections of the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The FIR named Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey as co-accused.</p>
