NFTs for 83 have been minted on the Polygon<a href="https://www.editorji.com/business-news/cryptocurrency/pm-modi-launches-blockchain-based-degrees-at-iit-kanpur-1640685246364" target="_blank"> blockchain platform</a>. They include autographed physical cricket memorabilia, video moments, digital avatars, and unseen posters and images.&nbsp;
According to Social Swag, the new NFTs have generated much interest in tier-I and tier-II cities. &ldquo;While we were expecting purchases mainly from metros, cities such as Jabalpur, Kanpur, Nagpur, Thiruvananthapuram, and Solapur, took the lead in accepting the buzzing culture of NFTs," said Atharva Sabnis, chief executive of NFT Labs, the technology partner of Social Swag.

Speaking during a live stream&nbsp;at the&nbsp;phygital&nbsp;edition&nbsp;of the fashion week, Malhotra&nbsp;said he looks at NFTs as a&nbsp;whole new&nbsp;industry&nbsp;for the exchange of art and culture which is creating new opportunities for all creatives.
As for his first NFT drop, the celebrity designer said the capsule depicts his journey&nbsp;in the fashion industry, including a 1998 image of supermodel Lisa Ray wearing his creation.
Known as a stylist to the stars, Malhotra&rsquo;s eponymous label&nbsp;also boasts of&nbsp;having opened&nbsp;India&rsquo;s&nbsp;first and only&nbsp;virtual reality&nbsp;couture store&nbsp;last year.

Amitabh Bachchan has become the first Indian actor to take a deep dive into the nascent world of digital assets.
The Bollywood&nbsp;actor has launched an&nbsp;NFT&nbsp;(Non-fungible tokens) collection, themed around his life and career. These NFTs will be available on BeyondLife.club, and will be developed by Rhiti Entertainment in collaboration with GuardianLink.io.

Posting a photo with Amitabh Bachchan, the&nbsp;Chairman and Managing Director of Rhiti Group,&nbsp;Arun Pandey, said that he was grateful to the actor and that he never thought he would launch Big B's&nbsp;NFT&nbsp;collection.
Among the NFTs up for grabs, are poems recited by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/amitabh-bachchan-s-voice-is-now-live-on-alexa-you-can-ask-him-whatever-you-like-1629372277128" target="_blank">Amitabh Bachchan</a>&nbsp;from 'Madhushala', the renowned collection of poems by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, along with his anecdotes.

In a recent interview, Facebook&nbsp;executive David Marcus said <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/crypto-craze-facebook-co-founder-s-backing-makes-coindcx-india-s-first-crypto-unicorn-1628564582375" target="_blank">Facebook&nbsp;</a>is looking at the number of ways to get involved in the space, as the company is working on its digital wallet Novi.
The company is planning to launch its wallet alongside its digital currency Diem, previously known as Libra. The social media giant believes Diem could&nbsp;reduce costly fees and lower the time it takes to send money cross-border.
Novi's&nbsp;website claims sending money would be done as easily as sending a message. The money added to the wallet would be converted to Diem that could be sent to anyone around the world.
Sending money overseas has always been a stressful job. However,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/crypto-corner-bitcoin-reclaims-50-000-first-time-in-3-months-1629689209014" target="_blank">cryptocurrencies</a>&nbsp;promise to make the process easier. A World Bank study shows that the overall average costs of transmission were 6.5% in 2020, with sending money digitally costing slightly less and sending via bank transfer slightly more.
