Former India cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu rated Kohli Kohli as the gereatest cricketer that India has produced.
In a chat with India Today he said, "I have rated him as the best Indian batter ever. There are eras where I would put up my transistor and listen to Sunil Gavaskar bat against the West Indies, those are the 70s. Then came Tendulkar, another era. Then came Dhoni, and then came Virat. If you look at four, I would rate him as the best because he has adapted to all three formats."&nbsp;
Elaborating on what made Kohli the greatest, Sidhu stated, 'If you look at all four, he would be the fittest. Tendulkar had problems, in the latter stages of his career. Dhoni, he is fit. Virat is super fit. That holds him in good stead. It elevates him to a level, a few notches higher, that others have not been able to achieve. The longevity factor, gives him a plus. The adaptability factor is Sone Pe Suhaaga," concluded the former India batter.
After a decade-long stint in the unforgiving world of politics, Sidhu and his 'Sidhuisms' will be back on air starting with the IPL, which precedes the T20 World Cup in June.
"The IPL will set the tone for the World Cup. There is no other cricket happening. The eyes of the world are on IPL. This is where you can snatch a berth for the T20 World Cup, not only Indians, even the foreign players," Sidhu told PTI in an interview facilitated by the IPL's official TV broadcaster 'Star Sports'.

Top Indian wrestlers, including Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat, are protesting at the Jantar Mantar in the national capital demanding action against Brij Bhushan, who they have accused of sexually harassing women grapplers.

In another tweet, she said, &ldquo;Waited for You, seeing you were denied justice again and again. Truth is so powerful but it takes your tests time and again. KALYUG. Sorry can't wait for you because it's stage 2 invasive cancer. Going under the knife today. No one is to be blamed because it's GODS plan: PERFECT (sic).&rdquo;
Navjot Sidhu, a former MLA from Amritsar, is serving a one-year jail term in Patiala central prison in a 1988 road rage death case.
On May 20 last year, Sidhu was sent to jail after he surrendered before a court in Patiala after being sentenced to one-year rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court in the case.

The next year, the Supreme Court stayed the conviction and the punishment.
In 2018, Supreme Court acquitted Sidhu of culpable homicide not amounting to murder but held him guilty of voluntarily causing hurt and imposed a fine of Rs 1000 on him.

 After suffering a series of electoral debacles in the recent past, the Congress seems to have decided to roll the dice in Punjab. In a rare move, Rahul Gandhi, who is considered to be the de-facto chief of the party, announced the Congress' chief ministerial face for the upcoming elections. Amid stiff competition from Navjot Singh Sidhu, Gandhi declared incumbent CM Charanjit Singh Channi as the CM face.

 This comes after months of veiled jibes flying between the CM and the state Congress chief revealed the infighting in the party in one of the handful of states it rules. But will the announcement of the CM candidate end, or intensify, the tussle for dominance?

 Preceding Gandhi's arrival in the state, Sidhu had declared that all would abide by the leader's decision. Gandhi reached the venue in a car driven by another Congress veteran believed to be miffed with the high command - Sunil Jakhar. Meanwhile, Channi and Sidhu sat in the rear seat.

 At the venue where Gandhi announced his decision, scenes of bonhomie were seen between Channi, Sidhu, and Jakhar. During Sidhu's emotional speech, he reportedly received a hug from Channi. Both Sidhu and Jakhar reportedly praised Gandhi for making Channi the CM after Amarinder Singh resigned. Channi is Punjab's first CM who belongs to the Dalit community. At the venue where Gandhi announced the decision, scenes of bonhomie were seen between Channi, Sidhu, and Jakhar.&nbsp;During Sidhu's emotional speech, he reportedly received a hug from Channi.&nbsp;Both Sidhu and Jakhar reportedly praised Gandhi for making Channi the CM after Amarinder Singh resigned.&nbsp;Channi is Punjab's first CM who belongs to the Dalit community.

Triggering speculations ahead of Punjab assembly election early next year, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu posted a photo with cricketer Harbhajan Singh. "Picture loaded with possibilities.. with bhajji, the shining star," Sidhu captioned the photo which evidently is a recent photo of the duo from a recent meeting as they can be seen in their winterwears. Keeping room for speculations wide open, Sidhu hinted at possibilities that Harbhajan Singh might join the Congress before the Punjab election.
Earlier their were reports that the former India offspinner&nbsp;was planning to join the BJP, but Harbhajan&nbsp;had called them outright&nbsp;fake.
Speculations over Harbhajan's political debut is not new as the cricketer has recently debunked rumours of his joining the BJP.
A few days ago, it was rumoured that the BJP was eyeing to rope Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, two high-profile cricketers, into the party. Harbhajan took to Twitter and refuted the speculation as 'fake news'.
