Megastar Nagarjuna is in no mood to overlook Telangana Minister Konda Surekha's offensive and distasteful remarks regarding his son Naga Chaitanya's divorce from actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
A day after, Telangana Minister Konda Surekha accused her political opponent K.T. Rama Rao of playing a major role in Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's separation, in a bid to score electoral points, Naga revealed he&rsquo;s gearing up for a significant legal battle against her.
Speaking with Times Now, he said, &lsquo;I am in Vizag. I am heading back to Hyderabad for action ahead.&rsquo;
He added that he is considering legal action, &lsquo;Oh, absolutely! A hundred percent. We can&rsquo;t let this go. Not at all. I am rushing back with lawyers.&rsquo;
A source close to Nagarjuna commented, &lsquo;This culture of politicians using celebrity names for attention must stop. The entire Telugu film industry stands with Nag and his family, not only to put an end to this slanderous trend but also because of the immense love and respect Nag commands.&rsquo;
Other top actors and directors are expected to join Nagarjuna in his fight to prevent politicians from invading the personal lives of celebrities for political gains.
On October 3, Konda Surekha took to her X handle to apologise to Samantha. She wrote, &lsquo;My comments are meant to question a leader&rsquo;s belittling of women and not to hurt your sentiments, Samantha. The way you have grown up with self-power is not only an admiration for me.. but also an ideal.&rsquo;
She added, &lsquo;If you or your fans are offended by my comments, I unconditionally retract my comments. Don&rsquo;t think otherwise.&rsquo;
On October 2, in a video, the politician could be heard saying in Telugu, &lsquo;The reason behind Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu&rsquo;s divorce is none other than KT Rama Rao. He used to drug actresses, take them to rave parties, and tap their phones to find their weaknesses and blackmail them. Everyone in the film industry knows it. Its an open secret.&rsquo;
Both Samantha and Chaitanya took to social media to dismiss the claims, asking Surekha to refrain from involving them in political disputes.
The backlash against Konda Surekha&rsquo;s remarks extended beyond the Akkineni family, sparking outrage among several other celebrities, including Jr NTR, Nani, Chinmayi Sripaada, and Prakash Raj. Their collective disapproval highlighted the widespread frustration within the industry regarding the minister's controversial statements.

He posed with the fan, hugged him and admitted that it was his team that was at fault. And it wasn&rsquo;t just him. Nagarjuna&rsquo;s security guard also came forward to apologise to the fan. &nbsp;
The specially abled fan was a staff member of a cafe at the airport. Sharing the pictures of the moment, the official page of Cafe Mitti wrote, &ldquo;Rishikesh has intellectual disabilities and is one of our most beloved employees. He was disturbed by the incident and felt sad about what happened. They came to apologize to Rishikesh. It was an honest mistake by the bodyguard and Nagarjuna had promptly apologized on social media for the same. Actors have a huge following and can play a positive role in disability awareness. For that reason, we are thankful to Nagarjuna and his bodyguard for going out of their way to make Rishikesh feel better.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Nagarjuna appears in a smart blue shirt, black trousers, and glasses amidst heavy rain, surrounded by trucks full of cash. In the final moments, he is seen placing a Rs 500 note atop piles of cash.
Earlier, the first look of actor Dhanush from Sekhar Kammula&rsquo;s Kubera' was unveiled, earning a thrilling response from audiences nationwide. Dhanush plays the role of a homeless man in Dharavi who turns into a mafia kingpin.
&lsquo;Kubera' is one of the most awaited pan-Indian films, helmed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Dhanush, King Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. The film is jointly produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd banner. Sekhar Kammula's Kubera&rsquo; is a pan-India multilingual film, being shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Megastar Nagarjuna had plans to vacation in the Maldives on January 17 after wrapping up &lsquo;Big Boss&rsquo; and &lsquo;Naa Saami Ranga.&rsquo; But now the actor has decided to cancel his trip due to comments made by some ministers from the Maldives about PM Narendra Modi.
Nagarjuna clarified that his decision wasn't influenced by fear, amid the ongoing trend of boycott.
During a conversation with lyricist Chandrabose and lyricist MM Keeravaani on a Telugu Film Producers Council YouTube episode, Nagarjuna stated, &lsquo;I worked tirelessly for 75 days on 'Big Boss' and 'Naa Saami Ranga.' Now, I've canceled my plans and am considering a visit to Lakshadweep next week. It wasn't because of fear but because it's not a healthy situation.&rsquo;

He added, &lsquo;Whatever they have said or the statements they have made were not healthy at all, and it's not right, and he is our Prime Minister. He is leading 1.5 billion people. Nagarjuna also shared his enthusiasm for the scenic beauty of the Bangaram Islands in Lakshadweep, indicating his upcoming visit. He even recommended that MM Keeravani should consider a trip to Lakshadweep soon.

Notably, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) recently made a significant decision to advocate for a boycott of film and television shoots in the Maldives. They issued a notice to their members and others in the industry, urging them to prioritize Indian locations for both work and leisure over the Maldives. Several other celebrities, who were often seen vacationing in the Maldives, have also been promoting Lakshadweep as an attractive alternative destination.

Earlier, Ayan Mukerji had shared some more BTS photos from the sets, which he called 'Flashes of Time!&nbsp;
'<a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/brahmastra-footage-sent-to-london-based-studio-for-vfx-work-1588769411938" target="_blank">Brahmastra</a>' will be a three-part fantasy trilogy directed by Ayan Mukerji. It will release in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film is bankrolled by Karan Johar&rsquo;s Dharma Productions. It was slated to release in December 2019 but was postponed. We are still to hear a final release date for 'Brahmastra'.
