Almost a month after its theatrical release, actor John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi starrer action-drama 'Mumbai Saga' is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Set in the 1980s and 90s, the film chronicles the transformation of Bombay to Mumbai. While John plays the role of a gangster aspiring to rule Bombay, Emraan plays the role of a cop who has vowed to shoot him on the head and win ₹10 crore prize money.&nbsp;Directed by Sanjay&nbsp;Gupta, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Suniel&nbsp;Shetty&nbsp;and&nbsp;Mahesh Manjrekar&nbsp;among others.&nbsp;

Chaitanya Tamhane&rsquo;s award-winning Marathi film 'The Disciple' has got a Netflix release. The film, which includes Alfonso Cuar&oacute;n as an executive producer, premiered at the 77th edition of the Venice Film Festival and won the prestigious FIPRESCI award.

Stating that award shows are like a &lsquo;circus&rsquo; for him, John said that&nbsp;he maintains distance from such events as&nbsp;he has no respect for them.
The actor added that it&rsquo;s comical to see actors dance and then collect an award and make funny jokes in the event.&nbsp;

Emphasizing&nbsp;the need to show confidence in cinema hall owners and promote a community viewing experience, John said&nbsp;for him the joy is reaching out to common people through his films, adding that he doesn't care about success or failure as&nbsp;he is&nbsp;there to entertain them.
Stating that 90% of the films that opt for OTT releases are bad, John added the&nbsp;OTT is a great avenue but for him, it has always been about being a big-screen hero and he won&rsquo;t be available for a subscription fee.
