YouTuber Manish Kashyap wanted by the Bihar Police for allegedly sharing fake videos of 'attacks on migrant workers in Tamil Nadu', surrendered before the police 'fearing arrest and attachment of his belongings' in West Champaran district on Saturday, PTI reported.
According to a statement issued by the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar Police, three cases were registered against Kashyap on the charges of 'indulging in spreading fake videos of migrants being killed and beaten up in Tamil Nadu on social media'.
The EOU has also frozen four bank accounts belonging to Kashyap.

Along with his Indian-origin Home Secretary Suella Braverman, the Sunak-led government is now planning to table the legislation in Parliament next week to address the issue.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Sunday announced a clamp down on illegal migration with a new proposed law to tackle the issue of migrants crossing over into the UK illegally and dangerously in small boats from across the English Channel.
The British Indian leader had made cracking down on this illegal route between the UK's sea border with neighbouring France among his top priorities for the year.
Along with his Indian-origin Home Secretary Suella Braverman, the Sunak-led government is now planning to table the legislation in Parliament next week to address the issue.
&ldquo;Make no mistake, if you come here illegally, you will not be able to stay,&rdquo; Sunak told the &lsquo;Sunday Express&rsquo; newspaper.
&ldquo;I have made the issue of illegal migration one of my top five priorities &ndash; pledging to stop the boats once and for all. Illegal migration is not fair on British taxpayers, it is not fair on those who come here legally and it is not right that criminal gangs should be allowed to continue their immoral trade. I&rsquo;m determined to deliver on my promise to stop the boats,&rdquo; he said.
According to the newspaper, Sunak believes he has found the answer to a problem which has dogged the government for the past four years after weeks of work carried out in relative secrecy by senior aides in the UK Home Office and at No. 10 Downing Street.
The group has now drawn up new laws to slam a &ldquo;brake&rdquo; on any abuse of human rights laws that allows illegal migrants to escape deportation from the UK.
It is hoped the new law will stop activist lawyers using the right to family life and legislation created to combat modern slavery to stop their clients being deported.
Braverman wrote in the &lsquo;Sun on Sunday&rsquo; to say "enough is enough&rdquo; and that the British people want the issue solved.

The Spanish coast guard on Monday rescued three migrants who undertook an 11-day voyage perched on a tanker's rudder. The ship arrived in the Spanish-owned Canary Islands from Lagos in Nigeria, according to Marine Traffic, a global ship-tracking website.&nbsp;

Once rescued, they were provided with initial care by emergency medical workers and then were immediately referred to hospitals for further care.&nbsp;
All three were hospitalised due to moderate dehydration and hypothermia after the 11-day voyage across the Atlantic, Spanish news agency EFE reported.&nbsp;
The three were spotted balancing themselves on the rudder, Atlantic waters just half-a-meter below their feet, as seen in the coast guard photograph.&nbsp;

The spot where they sat during their journey from Nigeria is located under the stern of a ship, wide open and susceptibe to any blow from the sea.&nbsp;
EFE reports that this is not the first time stowaways have been found in the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in a particularly dangerous part of the ship. Two years ago, three people were found on the rudder of the Ocean Princess II; and last month, three more spotted on a Norwegian oil tanker. Both ships had arrived from Lagos.&nbsp;
Reports state that the Canary Islands are often used by African migrants as a gateway to Europe and according to Spanish data, in comparison to last year, sea migration to the islands jumped 51% till May 2022.&nbsp;

As three Cuban asylum-seekers struggled through thick vegetation and razor wire to reach the U.S., a viral voice familiar to many migrants welcomed them. Holding two live-streaming smartphones aloft, TikTok activist Carlos Eduardo Espina narrated their every move for thousands of commenting fans.
The 23-year-old law school student began posting Spanish-language TikTok videos two years ago to help migrants understand the U.S. immigration system. With nearly 3.1 million followers now, Espina's popular posts include the latest news and advice on how migrants can safely reach the U.S.
"The quick format of the videos, where you're able to watch a TikTok in 10 seconds and then watch another one, is really convenient for immigrants- especially if you're on the move- you're going through Mexico or through Central America," said Espina, explaining his videos popularity with traveling migrants.
The social media activist's videos include warnings about crocodile sightings, the latest Title 42 developments and descriptions of items left behind by migrants.
"What I try to do is just tell them the reality of what they can expect when they get to the border," said Espina, after travelling from his home in Las Vegas to the busy crossing point of Eagle Pass, Texas. "It's not so simple as you just cross the border and then you're here in the U.S."
As the sun set over the Rio Grande, many of the 120 Cubans, Colombians and Venezuelans who waded through waist-deep water recognized Espina.
Honduran migrant Laura Martinez shouted her appreciation after following Espina's account for advice on when to cross.
"He informs us of the river current, when it goes up and down- the situation of border agents- and the suffering migrants face when crossing," Martinez explained.
Overnight rains raised the river's water to about neck-level for most adults, a possible explanation for the absence of groups numbering in the dozens, even over 100, that frequent the area many days.
Espina's latest video warning migrants of the dangerous currents may have also dissuaded some.
As tearful migrants embraced nearby, after reaching their final destination, Espina put down his smartphone to reflect on why he started his informational videos.
Espina immigrated legally to Texas when he was five-years-old with his Uruguayan father and Mexican mother and has been involved in community activism since he was a teenager.
"My mentality is- if I'm here, my family was able to immigrate, today I'm a U.S. citizen, why can't others have that same opportunity?" he said explaining his motivation.
"I've been blessed in this country to be able to go to school. Now I'm in law school. I've been able to work. I've been able to contribute," he added. "I want people at the end of the day to be safe, to be secure, and to not make decisions that could potentially put their lives in danger."
Espina came to offer his advice in Eagle Pass due to the relative ease of crossing — migrants walk across the river within a few minutes, often without paying a smuggler — and a perception that it is relatively safe on the Mexican side has made the remote region a major migration route.
Texas' Rio Grande Valley has long been the busiest of nine Border Patrol sectors on the Mexican border, but Del Rio has surged to a close second this year. Yuma, Arizona, another spot known for relative safety and ease of crossing, has jumped to third-busiest.
