Union Minister Ashwini Choubey&rsquo;s brother Nirmal Choubey died of a massive heart attack on Friday at the Mayaganj Hospital in Bihar&rsquo;s Bhagalpur district.
Choubey&rsquo;s relatives alleged medical negligence as the reason behind his death, following which two doctors have been suspended, ANI reported.
Nirmal Choubey was rushed to the hospital after he felt physical discomfort but his relatives have claimed that there was no doctor in the ICU to attend to him, according to ANI.

UP doctor allegedly leaves towel inside patient's stomach, probe ordered

The detoriating condition of Nazrana, prompted her husband to move her to another hospital where during a scan cause of her pain was revealed.&nbsp;

In a shocking case of medical negligence, a UP doctor allegedly left a towel inside a patient's belly after he operated upon her post labour pains.
The incident reportedly happened in Bans Kheri village of Amroha district.&nbsp;
The doctor, Matloob, allegedly left the towel in the belly of one Nazrana after conducting her operation at Saifee Nursing Home, which he used to run without permission in the Naugawana Sadat police station area in Amroha, ANI reported quoting Chief Medical Officer.&nbsp;
The report further said, the lady was readmitted to Matloob's nursing home, after she complaint of severe abdominal pain. Citing cold weather, the doctor kept the woman for 4-5 days in the hospital, with no improvement in the condition.

As per the ANI report, no FIR has been lodged, however, the CMO has assured of strictest action for negligence.&nbsp;

An inquiry has been initiated after a video showing a pregnant woman being carried to a hospital on a push-cart by her husband for want of an ambulance emerged from Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district.
When Kailash Ahirwal and his wife reached the local government-run Arogya Kendra after the one-km journey, there was no doctor or nurse there, he alleged.
The incident took place at Raneh village, 60 km from the Damoh district headquarters on Tuesday, and a video of the incident went viral on social media.
R P Kori, block medical officer at Hatta, said he had come across the video and an inquiry will be conducted.
Notices will be issued to the concerned employees as to why an ambulance was not provided to ferry the pregnant woman to the hospital, he said.
Ahirwal said that after his wife began to have labour pains on Tuesday, he called the 108 government ambulance service but no ambulance came for two hours.
He then put her on a push-cart and took her to the local Arogya Kendra where no nurse or doctor was available, he claimed.
Later, she was shifted to Hatta by a government ambulance, but after not getting proper treatment there, she was shifted to the Damoh district hospital where she was now under medical supervision, he added.

A woman doctor, who was booked for allegedly causing the death of a pregnant woman at a private facility in Rajasthan's Dausa district, committed suicide on Tuesday, police said.
According to police, the pregnant woman died at the hospital run by Dr Archana Sharma and her husband on Tuesday.
An FIR was registered against Archana at the Lalsot Police Station after family members of the pregnant woman held a demonstration outside the hospital and demanded immediate action against the erring doctor.
Stressed over the FIR, Archana hanged herself to death, police said.
Meanwhile, the SP of Dausa district has been removed and the Lalsot SHO, suspended.

The BJP leader has denied the accusations and said he has been implicated in a false case.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, demanding action against the culprits, private hospitals and nursing homes continued the suspension of all routine services across the state.&nbsp;
Dr Archana Sharma had ended her life, complaining of harassment after police booked her for murder following the death of a pregnant woman at her hospital.&nbsp;
The woman doctor's husband on Wednesday alleged in a video message that she panicked after the murder case was registered against her and claimed that senior BJP leaders were behind it.&nbsp;
He claimed that state BJP secretary Jitender Gothwal was present when the patient's family was protesting after her death on Tuesday.&nbsp;
Taking note of the suicide, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday had removed district SP Anil Kumar, suspended Lalsot SHO Ankesh Kumar and put Lalsot DSP Shankar Lal under awaiting posting order (APO) status.&nbsp;
In her suicide note, Archana Sharma had written that postpartum haemorrhage is a known complication and the doctor should not be penalised for it. She talked about the harassment doctors face in the letter too.&nbsp;She also wrote, "Don't harass innocent doctors, please."&nbsp;

Gothwal on Sunday had booked a train ticket for Priyanka Gandhi and asked her to take cognisance of a rape complaint against a Congress MLA's son.
Meanwhile, Dr Vijay Kapoor, secretary of an association representing private hospitals and nursing homes, said all routine work, including the OPD services and surgeries, remained suspended across the state.
Taking serious note of the doctor's suicide, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday had removed district SP Anil Kumar, suspended Lalsot SHO Ankesh Kumar and put Lalsot DSP Shankar Lal under awaiting posting order (APO) status.
Jaipur Divisional Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav was handed over an administrative inquiry into the matter.
In a one-page suicide note, Dr Archana had written, "I love my husband and children very much. Please do not trouble my husband and children after my death. I did not commit any mistake and did not kill anyone. PPH is a severe complication, stop harassing doctors for it this much. My death may prove my innocence." She also wrote, "Don't harass innocent doctors, please."
