Actor Manisha Koirala, representing Nepal, met UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at 10 Downing Street to celebrate 100 years of the 'friendship treaty' between Nepal and the UK. She was surprised that many at the gathering had watched her latest web series, 'Heeramandi.'
Manisha posted pictures of herself with PM Sunak from the meeting and wrote, &lsquo;It was an honour to be invited to 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom - Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship treaty. It was such a pleasure to hear the Prime Minister @rishisunakmp speak fondly of our country #nepal (sic).&rsquo;
For the occasion, Manisha donned a gorgeous black, silk saree.
Manisha Koirala, born in Kathmandu, is the daughter of Nepalese politician Prakash Koirala. Her grandfather, Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, served as the Prime Minister of Nepal from 1959 to 1960.
The 'Khamoshi' actor also extended an invitation to Rishi Sunak and his family for a trek to the Everest Base Camp. &lsquo;I took the liberty of inviting the PM and his family to trek to Everest Base Camp,&rsquo; Manisha shared. She added, &lsquo;Can you believe that most of the attendees had seen #heeramandionnetflix and loved it? I was thrilled!!&rsquo;
Manisha Koirala recently received praise for her portrayal of Mallikajaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series, 'Heeramandi'. She was joined by actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Shekhar Suman, and others on the show. She reunited with Bhansali after a gap of 28 years. She has worked on his directorial debut, 'Khamoshi', and was lauded for her work. She was seen opposite Salman Khan in the movie.

Director Rakesh Roshan&rsquo;s doctor helped Sanjay Dutt and due to the prompt medical assistance, he was able to overcome the fatal disease. Sanjay Dutt announced that he won over cancer on his children's 10th birthday.&nbsp;
Kirron Kher
Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in 2021. She then talked about the same to Hindustan Times and said that it&rsquo;s not the ideal situation to be in, but one learns to deal with it and carry on. She recovered after receiving treatment from a good team of doctors at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai

Mahima Chaudhry, best known for her performance in Subhash Ghai&rsquo;s 1997 film &lsquo;Pardes&rsquo;, was diagnosed with breast cancer. According to Indian Express, Mahima said that her treatment lasted for four months in Mumbai, but the journey was &lsquo;difficult&rsquo; and that the emotions will stay with her for a while.&nbsp;
Mahima will now be resuming work. She has two films in the pipeline &lsquo;Emergency&rsquo; and &lsquo;The Signature&rsquo;.
