Aishwarya Rajinikanth&rsquo;s 'Lal Salaam', starring Rajinikanth and Vishnu Vishal, is now in theatres and it is receiving rave reviews. To mark the milestone, both Rajinikanth and Dhanush took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to wish the director good luck for the film.&nbsp;

Dhanush took to his official X account to extend the best wishes to his former wife Aishwarya as she makes her directorial comeback with 'Lal Salaam'. 'Lal Salaam From today!' he wrote on X. Earlier on February 5, Dhanush shared the trailer of 'Lal Salaam' and wrote, "Best wishes to the team. God bless. #superstar #thalaivar (sic)."
<h3>Rajinikanth wishes daughter Aishwarya&nbsp;</h3>
Rajinikanth, who appears in an extended cameo in the film, wrote a post in Tamil which translates to, &ldquo;My love-filled wishes to my dear daughter Aishwarya. I pray to the almighty that your film Lal Salaam will be a huge success.&rdquo; Along with his heartfelt note, the Thalaivar also shared a priceless unseen pic with his daughter. The adorable picture he shared shows him sitting in a wheelchair with legs folded, and headphones as he adorably pats Aishwarya who stands with him. Both are all smiles.&nbsp;

'Lal Salaam' explores the relationship between cricket and communal strife, with a focus on harmony among the community. This innovative approach was employed for the song 'Thimiri Yezhuda' in Rajinikanth's 'Lal Salaam'. Rahman shared that he obtained consent from their families and compensated them accordingly.

Bamba Bakya and Shahul Hameed shared a close collaboration with AR Rahman, producing numerous blockbuster songs. Unfortunately, Shahul Hameed lost his life in a car accident back in 1997, while Bamba Bakya passed away due to a cardiac arrest in 2022.

'Lal Salaam', which stars Rajinikanth in a special cameo appearance, is one of the most awaited films of this year. The sports action drama, which was earlier scheduled to release on January 12, will now hit the theatres on February 9.
The makers shared the news on their official X account along with a new poster. The caption read, &lsquo;Namma THER THIRUVIZHA'ku Alappara kelappa neram vandhachu! (It's time to listen to our Chariot Festival) LAL SALAAM hits the big screen on February 9th 2024! Save the date!&rsquo;
The poster had a bamboo structure on the backdrop, the ones that are seen at cricket matches, with the title &lsquo;Lal Salaam&rsquo; and the release date '9 Feb' imprinted on it.
On December 12, which marked Rajinikanth's 73rd birthday, a glimpse of his character in &lsquo;Lal Salaam&rsquo; was revealed. In this film, he plays the role of Moideen Bhai in an extended cameo appearance. The teaser showcases Rajinikanth making a grand entrance, taking on a group of goons, and striding forward in slow motion. The teaser also includes the track &lsquo;Jalaali Jalaal,&rsquo; which is both sung and composed by AR Rahman.
The first official teaser for the sports action drama &lsquo;Lal Salaam&rsquo; was released by the makers on November 12. The teaser commences with an intense cricket match where the commentator declares that it's not just a game but a war.
&lsquo;Lal Salaam&rsquo; marks Aishwarya's return to directing after a seven-year hiatus. The film is rumoured to be set against the backdrop of cricket and communism and features Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in the lead roles. Aishwarya's previous directorial project was the Tamil action-thriller &lsquo;Vai Raja Vai,&rsquo; which included a cameo appearance by Dhanush.
The film will clash at the box office with Ravi Tejas' highly anticipated film 'Eagle'.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was recently invited to the inauguration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. It will take place on January 22.
