The Allahabad High Court has allowed a survey of the Shahi Idgah premises next to the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura.
The survey will be carried out by advocate commissioners appointed by the court.&nbsp;
The peition seeking the survey claimed that Krishna's birthplace lies beneath the mosque and that there are many signs which establish that the mosque was a Hindu temple.

Police personnel were deployed at the residence of an Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha member who had sought permission from the Uttar Pradesh chief minister to end his life if not allowed to offer prayers at the Shahi Idgah mosque on Janmashtami.
Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha national treasurer Dinesh Sharma on Tuesday wrote a letter purportedly with his own blood to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking permission to offer Janmashtami prayers inside the mosque, claiming it was the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
Officials said police personnel were deployed at his residence to prevent any untoward incident.
“As a precautionary measure, police are keeping a close watch on Dinesh Sharma, SP (Rural) Shrish Chandra said. He said the step was taken as Sharma had sought permission to end his life.
Multiple suits related to the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah mosque dispute are in courts with Hindu petitioners claiming the mosque is built on the place believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

A civil court in Uttar Pradesh&rsquo;s Mathura on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking removal of the Shahi&nbsp;Idgah&nbsp;Masjid on grounds that it was built over Krishna Janmabhoomi land.&nbsp;The court declined to entertain the plea citing the bar on admitting&nbsp;such cases&nbsp;under the Places of Worship Act, 1991.&nbsp;The civil suit moved by Hindu deity,&nbsp;Shri Krishna&nbsp;Virajman,&nbsp;through&nbsp;next friends, had sought the removal of encroachments and the mosque.&nbsp;Among other submissions, the plaintiff had contended that temples on the Mathura land were demolished by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb&nbsp;and&nbsp;that the &lsquo;Janambhoomi Trust&rsquo; had failed to perform its duty to secure, preserve and protect the Trust property.&nbsp;The&nbsp;plaintiff&nbsp;has now decided to move the Allahabad High Court.&nbsp;
