Taamara Krishna, daughter of late singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, shared pictures from her first gig on Thursday. This was a tribute concert which was held on the occasion of KK’s 54th birthday. Singers Shaan, Armaan Malik and her brother Nakul Krishna were among others who were a part of the event. 
Sharing the pictures, she penned a heartfelt note calling the gig an ‘overwhelming’ experience and said that she wished her father was present there to see her perform. 
She wrote, ‘First gig ! Was an amazingly overwhelming experience! Thanks to all the amazing artists who joined us! And special thanks to @singer_shaan uncle for making it really fun to sing ‘it’s the time to disco’ and just being really encouraging and supportive, dad will be smiling somewhere! Can’t believe what’s happening, and can’t stop wishing dad was here with us.
Taamara's post was filled with sweet messages from her followers and KK's fans. Composer Ehsaan Noorani was among those who commented. ‘Congrats !!!! Heard it went well !!,’ he wrote. 
In another post, Taamara thanked KK’s fans and his band for their support. She wrote, ‘Dads band has been so so encouraging and supportive too, they’ve made the whole process of performing so comfortable especially for me, they really ease my nerves, and I feel very at home on stage, because it feels like dad has left all his angels with us on stage, it feels like there’s some of dad in everyone on stage And it’s such a privilege to perform with the band, that made bands a thing in India, for Bollywood live gigs. Hope to catch up to your musicianship soon and not let you’ll miss dad too much.’

Bappi da had also dabbled in politics in January 2014 when he contested the Lok Sabha elections, which he lost.

Multiple medicines were found in KK's body, including antacids, syrups that give relief in case of acidity, heartburn and gas, and Vitamin C, the police sources informed Times of India.
'It was learnt that KK frequently used to pop in antacid pills. On the morning of May 31, he told his manager that he was low on energy. On that night, hours before his death, he had told his wife that his shoulder and arms were paining,' said the police source.
The Times of India report mentions that KK's postmortem and viscera reports will further be sent for histopathological tests, a study of tissues that can reveal blockages.

Soon after he posted the tribute, one of the social media users sent a hate message to the rapper, asking 'Tu kab marega.' (when will you die?).
Badshah posted a screenshot of the same on his Instagram Stories and wrote, 'Just to give you an idea what sort of hate we face on an everyday basis.'

Referring to the troll, he further wrote, 'What you see is an illusion, what you hear is a lie, some dying to meet you, some pray for you to die.'
KK, also known as Krishnakumar Kunnath died shortly after performing at a concert in Kolkata on May 31. He was 53.

As the nation is mourning the loss of legendary singer KK, filmmaker Srijit Mukherji has revealed that his last-recorded song will be released soon.
In an interview with India Today, Srijit mentioned that KK voiced a song for his film, 'titled Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga,' which would possibly be his last song for a movie. 'The song is very special. It’s written by Gulzar saab and sung by KK. And it is possibly going to be his last song for a film at least,' he said. 
'Gulzar saab is so fond of him and that collaboration has come out so well. I am dying to release and share the song. It will be out soon,' he added. 
In April 2022, KK shared a post on his Instagram handle, featuring lyricist Gulzar and the filmmaker, announcing the news. 
This song marked Srijit and KK's first collaboration. 
Recalling his first meeting with the singer, the filmmaker told India Today that KK's voice had been with him through many ups and downs in life and he was friends with his vocals for a very long time. 
Srijit, who is still in a 'state of partial shock' over the news, further added that KK's 'singing did all the talking' and an artist is measured by the impact of his songs.
'Today, almost every message on my timeline is about KK. The last time it happened was when Irrfan passed away. That’s how artists touch your life,' Srijit told India Today.
