Lyricist Javed Akhtar and &lsquo;KGF&rsquo; actor Anant Nag are the latest celebrities to weigh in on the ongoing controversy over &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;s song &lsquo;Besharam Rang&rsquo;. The song featuring Deepika Padukone in an orange bikini irked several people. A section of society claimed the colour is sacred in Hinduism, while some objected to the title of the film which happens to be a particular ethnic group.
Commenting on the same, Javed Akhtar said, &lsquo;If he (the minister) thinks there should be a separate censor board for Madhya Pradesh, they (should) watch the film separately. And if they are unhappy with the Centre's film certification, we should not come in between them, it is between them and the Centre.&rsquo;
When asked about the recently constituted 'Dharma Censor Board', Javed said, &lsquo;There is one censor board in MP, then this is there and one censor board of the centre is also there. What is the problem? We have four-five important 'dharmas' and they should have their censors. Maybe then moulvis (under Islam) will start watching films. Do it, do it!&rsquo;
&lsquo;It is not for me or you to decide whether the song is right or wrong. We have an agency,&rsquo; he added. Javed Akhtar said the people should trust the certification provided by the censor board and the cuts they suggest.
On the other hand, veteran actor Anant Nag slammed the costume worn by Deepika Padukone in the &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;
Speaking with Asianet, Anant Nag described the song as having &lsquo;nudity content&rsquo;. &lsquo;Showing women in such a way is not part of our Indian culture. If the censor team had done their job, this wouldn&rsquo;t have happened in the first place,&rdquo; he said, adding, &ldquo;Forget about movies, look at OTT content, they show all sorts of nasty and offensive stuff. Everything is openly shown and no one is there to stop them,&rsquo; he said.
The actor concluded, &lsquo;The Indian Cinema should stop such nudity content on big and small screens. Showing things against our culture and tradition will definitely cause conflicts among the people.&rsquo;

Actor Yash took some time off his busy schedule to participate in an event in Bangalore. Hundreds of fans turned up at the event and they were elated as they got a chance to get clicked with the star.
Few fans who were present at the event took to Twitter and mentioned that Yash patiently clicked pictures and selfies with nearly 700 fans. Some of them shared their photos with him and called him a &lsquo;real superstar&rsquo;.
In one of the videos that is doing the rounds on the internet, fans are seen lining up to catch a glimpse of Yash. &lsquo;Overwhelming moment. He is a real superstar, never before phenomena after such huge huge success. Sacha humble. Sacha down to earth,&rsquo; the Twitter user wrote.

Yash was last seen in &lsquo;KGF: Chapters 2&rsquo; which grossed over ₹1000 crore at the box-office globally.
In an interview with Variety, Yash said that he is overwhelmed with the response he has been receiving for &lsquo;KGF: Chapter 2&rsquo; and added that &lsquo;KGF&rsquo; wasn&rsquo;t supposed to be a two-part film. However, director Prashanth felt it could be made into a franchise seeing its potential.

Actor Krishna Rao, who appeared in an important role in Yash starrer 'KGF' died at the age of 70. Krishna had been ill for a long time and was admitted to Vinayak Hospital in Bengaluru for treatment but later succumbed to the illness.
KGF team took to Twitter and paid their tribute to the actor. Posting the photo of the actor the team wrote 'Condolences from Hombale film team on the death of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Tata by KGF fans. Om Shanti'
He played the role of a blind person who appears before the fight scene where the protagonist crushes the villains of Narachi in K.G.F: Chapter 1.
Although Krishna had been working in the industry for several years, it was 'KGF' that got him nationwide fame. He had played many supporting roles prior to KGF and reportedly also worked as an assistant director with Shankar Nag.

A source told Pinkvilla, &lsquo;Yash is loaded with offers by filmmakers from all industries, but it&rsquo;s a matter of zeroing down on something that appeals to everyone and does justice to the legacy of KGF 2.&rsquo;

Kannada actor Yash became a household name after the massive success of &lsquo;KGF: Chapter One&rsquo; and &lsquo;KGF: Chapter 2&rsquo;. Following this, many filmmakers have been keen to get him on board for their forthcoming projects.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Yash has been offered two big-budget Bollywood films - Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra&rsquo;s &lsquo;Karna&rsquo;, a mythological epic based on Mahabharata, and Ayan Mukerji&rsquo;s &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that &lsquo;Yash knows about the expectations of the audience and he doesn&rsquo;t want to let them down, which is primarily the reason why he is taking his own time to lock the next project. He is loaded with offers by filmmakers from all industries, but it&rsquo;s a matter of zeroing down on something that appeals to everyone and does justice to the legacy of KGF 2.&rsquo;
The source further revealed that Yash has been offered to play the powerful character of Dev in &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;. However, Yash is yet to give a go-ahead to either of the projects.
The actor is expected to make up his mind by January 2023 i.e., his birthday.
Various other names like Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan have also been doing the rounds in the media for playing the role of Dev in &lsquo;Brahmastra&rsquo; sequel. However, the makers are yet to confirm any of the reports.
The makers have reportedly also discussed the idea with Ranbir Kapoor to play a double role in &lsquo;Brahmastra 2&rsquo;.
Earlier, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Ayan talked about &lsquo;Bhramastra- Part Two: Dev&rsquo; and said that he plans to release the film in three years. He mentioned that the basic storyline of part two and part three has always been in place.

R Madhavan’s directorial debut, based on former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan’s life, highlights the spy scandal that changed his life forever and uncovers the truth the behind it all. The biographical drama stars Madhavan in the lead role and features special appearances by superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya. 
The film released in theatres on July 1 in Hindi, Tamil, and English. 
K.G.F: Chapter 1 & 2  (2018, 2022)
The period action film, written and directed by Prashanth Neel, stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty. It starts with journalist Anand Ingalagi's interview, whose book ‘El Dorado’ was banned by the government for detailing the events at the Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F.) between 1951 and 2018. He is seen narrating the story of Rocky who gets involved with the gold mafia to acquire power and wealth and fulfill a promise made to his dying mother.  
Vijendra Ingalgi, son of Anand Ingalgi continues the story of KGF and Rocky in Chapter 2. 
‘K.G.F: Chapter 1’ won two awards for Best Action and Best Special Effects at the 66th National Film Awards, whereas ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’, which released on 14 April, 2022 in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, is the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

The Sukumar directorial stars Allu Arjun in the titular role along with Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The action drama narrates the story of Pushpa Raj, a coolie, who volunteers to smuggle rare wood red sanders that only grows in Andhra. He soon becomes the leader of the smuggling network, but a ruthless police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat takes charge as SP and taunts Pushpa for his family background.

The film stars the Mollywood superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. ‘Tyson’, which is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of ‘Hombale Films’, is an action-packed socio-thriller.
The film, which has been set against the backdrop of contemporary India, is touted to be one of the biggest ever from Kerala. The movie is expected to go on floors in the last quarter of 2023 and will have a pan India release in 2024 in all the 4 south Indian languages and Hindi as well.
