Haasan belongs to the MNM party, while the other three are from DMK.
All the four members took oath in Tamil.
On Thursday, six members from Tamil Nadu had retired after completing their terms.

'Thug Life', Kamal Haasan's 234th film with Mani Ratnam, debuts amidst excitement and controversy, facing a ban in Karnataka.

"Thug Life", superstar Kamal Haasan's 234th movie, released in cinema halls across the country on Thursday and with much fanfare in his home state Tamil Nadu where fans queued up outside several theatres to catch the first show.
The Tamil movie, which reunites the 70-year-old actor with filmmaker Mani Ratnam after 1987's "Nayakan", could not be released in Karnataka after Haasan's comments about Kannada language sparked a major controversy. It was also released in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
In Tamil Nadu, the film's shows started at 9 am. Outside Chennai's Rohini Theatre, the excitement was visible as crowds gathered for the first day, first show of the film.
The venue was adorned with posters and cutouts of the movie and its stars, including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and Trisha.
Many fans burst firecrackers, cut cakes and danced in the theatre premises. Some hysterical fans popped open beer bottles and poured the beverage on giant cutouts of their beloved stars.
In the wake of a stampede in Bengaluru during IPL team Royal Challengers Bengaluru's celebrations on Wednesday, authorities deployed significant police presence at key cinema halls across Tamil Nadu.
The beefed up security arrangement played spoilsport to some of these celebrations.
"We were excited for the movie. We had planned to celebrate in a grand way but the government has not given us permission for it considering law and order issues. Hence we are a little disappointed," said one of the fans.
Another fan said, "There is too much expectation from the movie. We have planned many things but the permission was not granted. Despite that we are excited and celebrating. The movie is definitely coming out well." Celebratory scenes also played out in Coimbatore where fans welcomed the arrival of Haasan's new movie in style. Musical instruments, including the Sendai Melam, were played to uplift the crowd&rsquo;s spirits. The sound of drums echoed outside Archana Theatre in the flower market area.
"I have always been a great fan of Kamal Haasan. His film releases are like festivals for us. We are sure about the success of the film," said a cinephile who came to watch the movie.
The movie was also set to premiere in Karnataka but its release in the state was cancelled after Haasan's controversial "Kannada was born out of Tamil" remark.
Several fans from Bengaluru city and suburbs went to Hosur, a distance of about 42 km, to watch the movie, according to many social media posts.
Industry tracker Sacnilk said the movie has earned Rs 6.16 crore in advance bookings on Wednesday. Over 3.5 lakh tickets were sold across 11,357 shows.
Gautam Dutta, CEO- Revenue &amp; Operations, PVR INOX Ltd, said the film has been received well by the audiences, especially in Tamil Nadu.
&ldquo;Tamil Nadu is showing excellent numbers with 60-65 per cent occupancy already. Other South regions are also performing strongly. We&rsquo;re also seeing a steady rise in the North, driven by positive word of mouth.
"The film is generating strong buzz, and we expect high footfalls throughout the opening weekend. Thug Life is clearly connecting with audiences, and we&rsquo;re excited to see how it continues to grow," Dutta said in a statement.
The reviews from both fans and the critics, however, have been polarising.
One fan, who watched the movie in Mumbai, found it to be "amazing".
"The direction is so good and the ending is good. Kamal Hassan is an amazing actor... I got to watch a good film after a long time," the fan said.
For another fan in Mumbai, the movie didn't live up to the expectations.
"There is not much in the film, just a lot of fighting and enmity with each other. This kind of movie cannot run. Kamal Hassan's acting is very good. He is the hero, his acting is best. And the acting of the one along with him is also good," the fan added.
"Thug Life" is jointly produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin&rsquo;s Red Giant Movies, Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Ratnam&rsquo;s Madras Talkies.

The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday strongly criticised actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan for his recent remark suggesting that "Kannada was born out of Tamil", and observed that a "single apology could have resolved the situation." Justice M Nagaprasanna, who presided over the hearing, said that the statement had hurt the sentiments of the people of Karnataka and questioned Haasan's refusal to offer an apology.
"Language is an emotional and cultural identity of a people," and stressed that no individual has the right to make comments that undermine the pride of an entire linguistic community, the court observed.
Justice Nagaprasanna remarked, "Are you a historian or a linguist to make such a statement? No language is born out of another. A single apology could have resolved the situation."

Top actor Kamal Haasan's Kannada-Tamil remarks stoked a major row in Karnataka on Wednesday, prompting calls for his apology and threats to disrupt his upcoming flick "Thug Life," but the veteran indicated he would not budge, saying "love never apologises."&nbsp;
While the ruling Congress said Haasan was not aware of the greatness of Kannada, BJP demanded an apology from the actor-politician saying he 'disrespected' the language.
Incidentally, the issue flared up on a day when Haasan was nominated by his party, Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) to the Rajya Sabha, after the DMK in Tamil Nadu allotted one seat in the Upper House to MNM in return for its support in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Pro-Kannada groups went up in arms against Haasan for his "Tamil gave birth to Kannada" remarks, with a police complaint filed against him, while a film association is set to discuss a possible ban on the veteran star ahead of his upcoming release "Thug Life," directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said:"Kannada language has a very long history....he (Kamal Hassan) doesn't know."&nbsp;
Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President M Narasimhalu said that he has called for a meeting with all stakeholders of Kannada film industry to discuss a possible ban on Haasan.
"We will meet tomorrow (May 29) and will let the world know the outcome by afternoon," he said.
Haasan's comments that "Tamil gave birth to Kannada," at the audio launch of "Thug Life" in Chennai, has not gone down well with many in the southern state, with Karnataka BJP chief B Y Vijayendra accusing the actor of 'disrespecting' Kannada and seeking an unconditional apology from him.
The actor's comments have sparked outrage among several pro-Kannada outfits. These groups staged protests against him in various parts of the state like Belagavi, Mysuru, Hubballi and Bengaluru, among others.
The activists claimed that Kannada has a history spanning thousands of years. As a demonstration of their anger, they burnt Kamal Hassan's posters at Belagavi and few other places, and raised slogans against him.
Condemning the actor-politician's statement, the agitators demanded that he apologise to the people of the state.
They even threatened to obstruct screening of his film "Thug Life" in the state, if he fails to issue an apology.
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, a pro-Kannada organisation, lodged a complaint with Bengaluru Police against Kamal Haasan for his remarks.
Meanwhile, Haasan claimed his remarks were made out of love and that "love will never apologise." While talking to reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Haasan said those who triggered a row over his statements were "confusing the issue".
"What I said, was said out of love. And a lot of historians have taught me language history and I did not mean anything." He also said Tamil Nadu is a "rare state" which has been open to anyone.
"And, let me tell you, Tamil Nadu is a place which has been open. I don't say there is no other state like this. But a very rare state where a Menon (MG Ramachandran) has been our Chief Minister...a Reddy (Omandur Ramasamy Reddiyar) has been our chief minister, a Tamil (M Karunanidhi) has been our chief minister and then a Kannadiga Iyengar has been our CM, from Mandya," the actor said.
The Kannadiga Iyengar was an apparent reference to the late Jayalalithaa.
"When there was a problem from a chief minister who hailed from Karnataka (Jayalalithaa), it was Karnataka which gave me support. Kannadigas said come here we will give you a house, don't go anywhere. So the people will take care of Thug Life, Kamal Haasan and all these controversies," he said.
Politicians, including him were not qualified to talk about languages as they don't have the "education enough" to do so.
"So let's leave all this very in-depth discussions to historians, archaeologists and language experts," he said.
The statement he made regarding the language was out of love and "we are family and so are the languages." "If you look at it from the northern point of view, yes what they say, according to them is right. But if you look at it from Thenkumari (south), then what I say is right. Then there is a third angle to it, and that is what I said (that) the scholars and language experts, they will say both are right, but they must decide where they want to belong, to their family or to the languages that came from the North." "That's up to you, this is a democratic country. This is not an answer, this is an explanation. Love will never apologise," Haasan said.

&nbsp;Actor-politician Kamal Haasan on Monday gifted a car to a Coimbatore-based woman who quit her job as a bus driver over a controversy surrounding issuing a travel ticket to DMK MP Kanimozhi last week.
The car was provided to Sharmila, Coimbatore's first woman bus driver, on behalf of the "Kamal Panbattu Maiam" (Kamal Cultural Center) to enable her become a driver-entrepreneur, the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief said in a statement.
"I was anguished over the recent debate surrounding Sharmila, who was a very good example to women of her age. Sharmila should not remain a mere driver. My belief is to create many Sharmilas," he added.
She would now use the car for rental service and become an entrepreneur, he added.
Last week, barely minutes after Kanimozhi took a ride from Gandhipuram to Peelamedu in Coimbatore in the bus driven by Sharmila, the latter had said she had to give up her "dream job" allegedly after her colleague disrespected the DMK Parliamentarian and also because her management accused her of seeking publicity by inviting prominent personalities to travel in the bus.
She claimed she had intimated her management about the proposed visit of the MP but she could not digest the "disrespect" meted out to the DMK leader.
The transport firm denied being informed about Kanimozhi's visit and insisted Sharmila had left on her own accord.

Now, as per a Hindustan Times report, there is no truth to these reports. A source close to the film&rsquo;s unit said that talks have been initiated with Kamal Haasan, but he hasn&rsquo;t even confirmed anything yet.
In a recent interview, Ashwini Dutt shared several updates about the film and said, &lsquo;This will be a graphics-heavy film. It&rsquo;s been five months since we commenced work on the graphics and it&rsquo;ll go on through the course of next year as well. We&rsquo;ve completed about 70 percent of the shoot so far.&rsquo;
Filmmaker Nag Ashwin is directing the upcoming science-fiction film, &lsquo;Project K&rsquo;. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
The movie was officially announced in February 2020 via a special video.

She had alleged that Tamil lyricist Vairamuthu sexually harassed her on work trips and threatened to end her career when she didn&rsquo;t respond. After her allegations, Chinmayi was banned from the South Indian Cine, Television Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union.
Marking one-month of wrestlers&rsquo; protest, Kamal tweeted, &lsquo;Instead of fighting for national glory, we have forced them to fight for personal safety.
