Actor Jared Leto took everyone by surprise at this year&rsquo;s fashion extravaganza as he arrived at The Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a giant cat costume. His costume was in accordance with this year&rsquo;s theme &ndash; &lsquo;Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty&rsquo;, paying tribute to the late fashion legend's cat Choupette. Many couldn't recognise him so Jared removed the head of the furry mascot and revealed himself to the cameras. He also did some cute stunts for the paparazzi.
He later got out of the cat costume and appeared wearing a black co-ord set with a cape.
American rapper-singer Doja Cat too paid tribute to Choupette. She donned a body-hugging gown with her face covered in feline-inspired prosthetics, resembling a cat.
The Met Gala 2023 was attended by several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Usher, Kendal Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt, among others.

The Internet paused and bowed to the Queen, as Lady Gaga looked a vision in a sheer dark violet ensemble. She chose a silk chiffon cape gown from Gucci's Pre-Fall 2022 Love Parade collection by Alessandro Michele. The sheer sequin-embellished ensemble came with a risqu&eacute; thigh-high slit, exaggerated floor-sweeping sleeves, and twisted pleated detail on the front.

Gaga wore the ensemble with black fishnet stockings and crystal-embellished gloves that were also shown on the runway. She added her signature Pleaser platform boots as a personalized touch and wore purple eyeshadow to match the gown.

Interestingly, leading man Adam Driver, skipped Gucci for the big night. He chose a navy Burberry suit and tie, and Jared Leto brought the house down in a blue velvet suit featuring satin trim paired with white boots, an embellished anatomical heart-shaped clutch, and a diamond statement necklace.

Morbius&nbsp;itself will pit Jared Leto against his childhood friend Loxias Crown aka Hunger (played by Matt Smith) once Crown discovers Michael's potential solution for the rare blood disorder he's battled.
The film also references Venom, Michael Keaton&rsquo;s Vulture, Tobey Maguire starrer-Spider-Man, and the Oscorp logo from The Amazing Spider-Man universe.
The Sony movie is also set to feature&nbsp;Fast &amp; Furious&nbsp;star Tyrese Gibson, comedian Al Madrigal,&nbsp;Good Omens' Adria Arjona and&nbsp;Foundation&nbsp;actor Jared Harris.
