New James Webb telescope points to how our Sun would've looked as it was being born

The report said the scene would have looked much the same when our Sun was a similar age.

A new image taken by the James Webb Space Telescope shows a star coming into existence.&nbsp;
The BBC reported that towards the centre of an object, called HH212, is a star coming into existence that is probably no more than 50,000 years old.
The glow from the protostar itself is visible because it's hidden within a dense, spinning disc of gas and dust.
The report said the scene would have looked much the same when our Sun was a similar age.

The size of the plume as well as the rate at which it spews out water, which is about 300 litres per second, has amazed scientists.

NASA's James Webb telescope has detected a water vapour plume that spans over 9,000 kilometres on Saturn's moon Enceladus, as per a report by Indian Express.
To put the enormity of the plume into context, its size is nearly thrice the distance between Kashmir and Kanyakumari.
Notably, Enceladus has a diameter of a little more than 500 kilometres, which means that it is just 4 per cent the size of our planet.
The size of the plume as well as the rate at which it spews out water, which is about 300 litres per second, has amazed scientists.&nbsp;

The James Webb Telescope has sent back some stunning images of a spiral galaxy named IC 5332. The space observatory used its Mid-InfraRed Instrument (MIRI) to capture the extreme detailed image. Earlier, NASA's Hubble had taken a photo of the galaxy but Webb's powerful imaging gives unparalleled detailing to the galaxy's structure. 
The Hubble's image showcases dark regions separating the spiral arms of the galaxy whereas Webb's image shows a continuity in the spiral arms' shape. Astronomers believe that this difference is due to the presence of dusty regions in the galaxy. 
The galaxy which is 29 million light years away from Earth directly faces the planet making it easier for observers to look at its spiral arms minutely. IC-5332 is just a little bigger than the Milky Way with a 66,000 light years diameter."MIRI is the first instrument that delivers mid-infrared images that are sharp enough to be easily matched to Hubble’s view at shorter wavelengths," according to the European Space Agency, which developed the MIRI instrument jointly with NASA.
The instrument is sensitive to the mid-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. According to NASA, the instrument requires a frigid environment to function at the highest level.

Scientists released the shots on Monday of the solar system's biggest planet.
The James Webb Space Telescope took the photos in July, capturing unprecedented views of Jupiter's northern and southern lights, and swirling polar haze.
Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a storm big enough to swallow Earth, stands out brightly alongside countless smaller storms.
One wide-field picture is particularly dramatic, showing the faint rings around the planet, as well as two tiny moons against a glittering background of galaxies.
“We've never seen Jupiter like this. It's all quite incredible,” said planetary astronomer Imke de Pater, of the University of California, Berkeley, who helped lead the observations.
“We hadn't really expected it to be this good, to be honest," she added in a statement.
The infrared images were artificially colored in blue, white, green, yellow and orange, according to the US-French research team, to make the features stand out.
NASA and the European Space Agency's USD 10 billion successor to the Hubble Space Telescope rocketed away at the end of last year and has been observing the cosmos in the infrared since summer.
Scientists hope to behold the dawn of the universe with Webb, peering all the way back to when the first stars and galaxies were forming 13.7 billion years ago.
The observatory is positioned 1 million miles (1.6 million kilometers) from Earth.

The observation is the most detailed of its kind to date, demonstrating Webb's unprecedented ability to analyse distant atmospheres, according to NASA. WASP-96 b is one of more than 5,000 confirmed exoplanets in the Milky Way.
Located roughly 1,150 light-years away in the southern-sky constellation Phoenix, it represents a type of gas giant that has no direct analogue in our solar system, it said in a statement.
With a mass less than half that of Jupiter and a diameter 1.2 times greater, WASP-96 b is much puffier than any planet orbiting our Sun. With a temperature greater than 538 degrees Celsius, it is significantly hotter.
WASP-96 b orbits extremely close to its Sun-like star, just one-ninth of the distance between Mercury and the Sun, completing one circuit every three-and-a-half Earth-days, according to NASA.
The combination of large size, short orbital period, puffy atmosphere, and lack of contaminating light from objects nearby in the sky makes WASP-96 b an ideal target for atmospheric observations.
While the Hubble Space Telescope has analysed numerous exoplanet atmospheres over the past two decades, capturing the first clear detection of water in 2013, Webb's immediate and more detailed observation marks a giant leap forward in the quest to characterise potentially habitable planets beyond Earth.
On June 21, Webb's Near-Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph (NIRISS) measured light from the WASP-96 system for 6.4 hours as the planet moved across the star.
This resulted in a light curve showing the overall dimming of starlight during the transit, and a transmission spectrum revealing the brightness change of individual wavelengths of infrared light between 0.6 and 2.8 microns.
The light curve confirmed properties of the planet that had already been determined from other observations - the existence, size, and orbit of the planet.
The transmission spectrum revealed the previously hidden details of the atmosphere: the unambiguous signature of water, indications of haze, and evidence of clouds that were thought not to exist based on prior observations.
A transmission spectrum is made by comparing starlight filtered through a planet's atmosphere as it moves across the star to the unfiltered starlight detected when the planet is beside the star.
Researchers are able to detect and measure the abundances of key gases in a planet's atmosphere based on the absorption pattern - the locations and heights of peaks on the graph.
In the same way that people have distinctive fingerprints and DNA sequences, atoms and molecules have characteristic patterns of wavelengths that they absorb.
The spectrum of WASP-96 b is not only the most detailed near-infrared transmission spectrum of an exoplanet atmosphere captured to date, but it also covers a remarkably wide range of wavelengths, including visible red light and a portion of the spectrum that has not previously been accessible from other telescopes, NASA said.
This part of the spectrum is particularly sensitive to water as well as other key molecules like oxygen, methane, and carbon dioxide.
Researchers will be able to use the spectrum to measure the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere, constrain the abundance of various elements like carbon and oxygen, and estimate the temperature of the atmosphere with depth.
They can then use this information to make inferences about the overall make-up of the planet, as well as how, when, and where it formed.
