Actor Jacob Elordi has become the latest victim of an explicit deepfake video scandal. Earlier deepfake videos of celebrities like Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Megan Thee Stallion have gone viral. However, Elordi’s incident becomes even more concerning as it reportedly involves a minor.

Actor Jacob Elordi has become the latest victim of an explicit deepfake video scandal. Earlier deepfake videos of celebrities like Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Megan Thee Stallion have gone viral. However, Elordi&rsquo;s incident becomes even more concerning as it reportedly involves a minor. &nbsp;
<h2>Jacob Elordi&rsquo;s deepfake video&nbsp;</h2>
On Tuesday, multiple posts featuring an X rated video with Elordi&rsquo;s face superimposed over another person&rsquo;s body went viral. The disturbing video received millions of views before being taken down. The post circulating on X featured &lsquo;Euphoria&rsquo; actor&rsquo;s face superimposed over a person engaged in a sexual act. &nbsp;
Later, the actual person in the video also spoke out and revealed that he was only 17 when the video was filmed. The 19-year-old OnlyFans model called it &lsquo;creepy&rsquo; and hit out at the people responsible for the deepfake video. He claimed that it is him from his younger days and demanded the video be taken down. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s literally my video,&rdquo; wrote the model in his post. &nbsp;
The viral post was later removed by X with a message, &lsquo;This post violated X&rsquo;s rules.&rsquo; While the video received over 3 million views, social media users expressed concerns over the misuse of AI.&nbsp;
<h2>Celebrities being targeted&nbsp;</h2>
This is not an isolated incident using deepfake technology. Several celebrities have fallen prey to the menace recently. Earlier this year in January, Taylor Swif&rsquo;s deepfake images went viral on social media. &nbsp;

Jacob Elordi allegedly assaulted a radio producer on February 3 at a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs after he requested some of his bathwater for Jackie O's birthday, referencing a viral scene from &lsquo;Saltburn.&rsquo;

Jacob Elordi, known for his roles in &lsquo;Saltburn&rsquo; and &lsquo;Euphoria&rsquo;, is under police investigation in Australia following allegations of assaulting a radio producer on February 3.
According to reports from Australia's Daily Telegraph, the incident occurred at a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Joshua Fox, a producer for &lsquo;The Kyle &amp; Jackie O Show&rsquo; on KIIS FM, approached Elordi and requested some of his bathwater for Jackie O's birthday, referencing a viral scene from &lsquo;Saltburn.&rsquo;
Allegedly, Elordi asked Fox to stop filming and delete the footage, leading to an escalation of the situation.
Speaking on the &lsquo;Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast Show&rsquo;, Mr. Fox recounted approaching the actor outside the building. In a recording released by KIIS FM, Mr. Elordi can be heard requesting not to be filmed.
Mr. Fox stated he agreed to stop &lsquo;because the joke didn't land,&rsquo; but Mr. Elordi became confrontational, demanding the deletion of any footage.
Feeling intimidated, Mr. Fox refused, preserving the recording as evidence. Subsequently, Mr. Fox claimed the actor &lsquo;flipped,&rsquo; pushing him against the wall with his hands on his throat.
&lsquo;He kind of gets up in my face &hellip; He&rsquo;s a lot taller than me. I could&rsquo;ve kissed him, he was that close, I&rsquo;m backed against this wall, he&rsquo;s right in my face and his two boys are now either side of me. &hellip; It was kind of scary. I&rsquo;m feeling quite intimated, and Jacob demands I delete the footage,&rsquo; he said.
Police confirmed to BBC Newsbeat they are investigating an alleged assault against a 32-year-old man by a 26-year-old male.
