These images, shared by leaker Majin Bu on X (formerly Twitter), suggest the incorporation of a notch for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors. This marks a departure from previous models, which utilized Touch ID and a home button. Furthermore, the action button&mdash;a feature introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro series&mdash;appears to replace the traditional mute switch.
The leaks reveal a single rear camera setup for the iPhone SE 4, likely to be a 48-megapixel sensor. This configuration, accompanied by an LED flash and microphone, mirrors the iPhone XR design. Such a camera upgrade indicates Apple's focus on enhancing photography capabilities while maintaining a simplified hardware layout.

Despite rumours that the company is updating the design of the phone, the iPhone SE 5G is expected to keep the same 4.7-inch LCD display as the current iPhone SE model. The new phone may come with 3GB of RAM.

Along with the new iPhone, Apple is also expected to launch an update to the iPad Air. The new iPad Air will keep the design of its predecessor, but feature the new A15 Bionic chipset, and an improved front-facing camera with Center Stage support.
The report also states that Apple may launch some new MacBooks with Apple Silicon chipsets in March. This is likely to be the updated MacBook Air models, with a redesign, and could see the first Apple M2 SoC.

The iPhone SE (2022) is expected to be powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chipset, which powers the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. It may come with a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD display. Earlier reports had suggested that the iPhone SE (2022) may inherit the design language of the iPhone XR, meaning that it would look like a modern iPhone with the notch and full-screen display. However, a report by ITHome says that the device would carry Touch ID fingerprint sensor functionality embedded in a physical home screen button, much like the current iPhone SE. This would also mean that the device would not get Face ID capabilities.

For optics, the device may come with a single 12MP camera at the back, although the sensor will be upgraded. The device will come with 3GB RAM, although there may be a larger variant which carries 4GB RAM. The upcoming Apple iPhone SE may also sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem chipset.
There is also talk of a larger iPhone SE variant, planned for release in 2023, which sport a 6.1-inch full screen display, although it may feature a hole-punch cutout for the front camera instead of the current notch.
Analysts from JP Morgan have speculated that Apple is targeting the mid-range Android market with next few iPhone SE smartphones, with as many as 1.4-billion Android users who could switch to iPhone. There are also around 300 million users on older iPhone models who could upgrade.
