Asian Games gold medallists Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty returned to top 10 in the BWF mens' doubles World Rankings released on Tuesday, climbing three spots following their semifinal finish at the China Open last week.

Michael Chuwuemeka appeared before Leicester Crown Court sitting at Loughborough on Tuesday charged with her murder and also faces additional charges of dangerous driving, possession with intent to supply Class B or banned drugs, attempted grievous bodily harm relating to a prior incident and assault of an emergency worker following an alleged assault on a police officer after his arrest on June 24.
He has been additionally charged with causing actual bodily harm in connection with a separate victim in London earlier.
&ldquo;A post-mortem examination has been conducted and a provisional cause of Nila's death has been given as a head injury,&rdquo; Leicestershire Police said.

This is the first time an Indian astronaut has travelled to the International Space Station.
"At 6:31 am EDT (4:01 IST) on Thursday, the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft docked to the International Space Station for the fourth private astronaut mission to the orbiting laboratory, Axiom Mission 4," the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced in a statement.
A live videolink from the NASA showed the spacecraft approaching the space station. The docking sequence was completed at 4:15 pm IST.
After the soft capture of the spacecraft, the hard-mating was completed when the two orbiting bodies were connected with 12 sets of hooks with each other and communication and power links were established.

Shukla, a test pilot with the Indian Air Force, is the second Indian to go to space and the first since Rakesh Sharma's eight-day sojourn in 1984.

&ldquo;Thailand and India are two very good technology countries, and we have been working for several years on it together,&rdquo; Wisit told PTI on the sidelines of the UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of AI2025, a two-day conference from June 24-27 here.
The development comes after the latest MoU for Cooperation in the field of Digital Technologies was signed by the two countries during Modi&rsquo;s official visit to Bangkok to participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit hosted by Thailand in April this year.
With these and other agreements signed during the visit, Thailand and India have elevated bilateral ties to a strategic partnership and strengthened regional connectivity, trade and investment.
Meanwhile, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has announced a mega AI-focused programme at the opening of the UNESCO forum on Wednesday.
"Under our National AI Committee, we are moving forward with key initiatives,&rdquo; said Shinawatra, listing out details, including the development of AI talent to have as many as 10 million users, 90,000 professionals, and 50,000 developers.
Further, she committed USD 15.4 billion investment in AI infrastructure, building open-source AI infrastructure as well as a National Data Centre with an investment of over USD 61 million.
&ldquo;We will also establish the AI Governance Practice Centre (AIGPC) &mdash; to share ethical AI practices, promote training, and foster collaboration across sectors,&rdquo; said Shinawatra.
&ldquo;AI must be a force for truth, inclusion, and human-centred progress. Let us work together to ensure that AI upholds dignity, protects societies, and benefits all,&rdquo; she said.
Commenting on the long-term working relationships between India and Thailand, as well as with the other member countries of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), industry observers said Indian technologists, given the large number of engineers available in the country, could play a pivotal role in mega technology-driven programmes.
The availability of Indian engineers in large numbers is not only advantageous to India but also serves well for other countries facing a shortage of technical and skilled manpower while trying to manage in a fast-accelerated technology ecosystem across all economic sectors, the observers said.

Former India left-arm spinner Dilip Doshi, who carved out a niche for himself despite being in the shadows of Bishan Singh Bedi, died due to cardiac arrest in London on Monday, the Saurashtra Cricket Association said.
He was 77 and is survived by his wife Kalindi, son Nayan, who has also played first- class cricket, and daughter Vishakha.
Doshi made his Test debut in 1979 after Bedi's retirement and played his last of his 33 games in 1983.
In those matches, he took 114 wickets with six five-wicket hauls and was exceptional at home during the first three seasons, completing 100 scalps in just 28 Tests.
His finest hour was getting five wickets in India's Test win at the MCG in 1981 when the visitors defended a paltry target.
Doshi bowled with a fractured toe and was literally unplayable on an up-and-down MCG track. Doshi, Karsan Ghavri and the peerless Kapil Dev won that game for India.
He was also a stalwart in English county circuit having plied his trade for more than a decade there. He represented Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
"Dilip bhai suffered a heart attack in London. He is no more," Saurashtra CA president Jaydev Shah told PTI.
"Dilip's passing away is a personal loss to me. He was like a family. He was one of the finest human beings," former BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said.
In the Indian domestic circuit, he played for Bengal and Saurashtra. In all he had a staggering 898 first-class scalps with 43 five-fors.
He was Bengal's go-to man in Ranji Trophy for years.
While Bedi remains India's greatest left-arm spinner, Doshi was one of the most accurate bowlers who would flight the ball when required and was very accurate for the better part of his career.
The touring Australian, English and West Indies teams found it difficult to handle his arm balls, and it was Javed Miandad, who actually hastened his exit from international cricket during the 1982-83 series against Pakistan.
The bespectacled cricketer was a gentleman to the core.
Miandad would often tease him by enquiring about his room number in the middle of the game.
"Ae Dilip tela loom number kya hai," Miandad would ask in a slurry tone.
His batting and fielding in those days wasn't top notch but in that era he could survive because his bowling was from top drawer.
He was a close friend of Sunil Gavaskar and the legend was first introduced to his wife Marshaniel by Doshi.
After retirement, he had migrated to London where he became a successful businessman.
He would divide his time between London, Mumbai and Rajkot, and it was quite strange that the BCCI never bothered to use Doshi's expertise.
Former India captain Anil Kumble was among the first to pay his tribute to the late cricketer.
"Heartbreaking to hear about Dilip bhai's passing. May God give strength to his family and friends to bear this loss. Nayan, thinking of you buddy," Kumble wrote on X.

&ldquo;ICCA, a USA-based global body founded in 1961, represents the worldwide corrugated packaging industry and promotes sustainable, recyclable packaging solutions. Historically, its leadership has come from North America, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Canada,&rdquo; said Agarwal, Chairman of Hyderabad-based Central India Packaging.
Ankit Agarwal, his son and the Managing Director of Central India Packaging, who has also been appointed as the India Director on the ICCA Board, conducive policies in the south, especially Hyderabad, has resulted in the flourishing of the corrugated packaging sector.
&ldquo;We are expecting a growth rate of 9.5 to 10 per cent going forward. The Indian market is currently valued at USD 7.8 billion and is expected to reach USD 18.6 billion by 2033,&rdquo; Ankit told PTI on Wednesday.
In contrast, the global corrugated box packaging market, valued at USD 170.96 billion in 2024, is projected to reach USD 179.5 billion in 2025, is growing at a CAGR of 5.1 per cent through 2030, he pointed out.
According to him, corrugated packaging is the future, as it is an eco-friendly solution with discarded cardboard packaging like shipping boxes and containers being recycled into paper, making it a sustainable packaging option for a wide range of industries.
One of the biggest advantages of heading the ICCA is the chance to host the biennial Global Summit of the Corrugated Box Industry here in India.
&ldquo;Hyderabad has been chosen to host the summit in January 2027. This will place Telangana and India firmly on the global industrial map, particularly in the eco-friendly packaging sector,&rdquo; added Ankit, who is also the Vice President of the Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India (FCBM).
Agarwal, who has been in the packaging business for 45 years now, said there has been a steady growth in the last 10 years with many international players entering the market.
&ldquo;We have the numbers, our Indian members alone are over 3,000. So, I expect the real numbers to be in the range of 5,000 to 6,000,&rdquo; said Agarwal.
Solid eco systems for food &amp; beverage, electronics, pharmaceuticals, engineering and automobiles, as well as the tremendous growth of the e-commerce sector post Covid pandemic, have spurred the growth of the packaging industries too, added Ankit.
He said big players, particularly from Japan, have already set up shops in South India.
&ldquo;For instance, Rengo, Japan&rsquo;s biggest, which incidentally hosted the recently-concluded summit in Osaka, has set up a plant in Chennai, as a joint venture with an Indian company,&rdquo; said Ankit.
Other Japanese companies include Tri-Wall Limited, which has set up a plant in Bengaluru for Toyota and Oji Holdings Corp, which is the latest to set up a facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, added Agarwal.
American company Smurfit Westrock had acquired a paper mill in Vapi, Gujarat in 2013, he added.
The father-son duo is expecting a lot of consolidations and acquisitions going forward.
"We are planning to host the seminar in January 2027, although traditionally ICCA summits are held in May, keeping in mind the Indian summer. This will be a golden opportunity to showcase India and its capabilities. We are expecting around 250 global delegates to participate," added Ankit.

Shahzadi, 33, had been imprisoned in Abu Dhabi's Al Wathba jail. Her case stemmed from the death of an infant under her care, following routine vaccinations. Her employment in Abu Dhabi began in December 2021 to care for the child born to her employer in August 2022.&nbsp;
The case took a serious turn after a video surfaced, allegedly showing Shahzadi confessing to the homicide in December 2023. However, her father&rsquo;s plea claimed the confession was a result of torture and duress by the employer.
There were further complications: the infant's parents refused a postmortem and signed a waiver on further investigations. Despite legal counsel provided by the Indian Embassy, allegations arose of inadequate representation and coerced confessions.
Legal Proceedings and Outcome
Shahzadi&rsquo;s appeal in September 2023 was dismissed, with the death penalty upheld in February 2024. A mercy petition filed by her father in May 2024 went unanswered as her execution date approached. A brief last conversation between Shahzadi and her father hinted at her imminent execution, prompting him to seek urgent diplomatic intervention.
Assistance Post-Execution
The Foreign Ministry stated that all possible assistance is being extended, with arrangements for Shahzadi's cremation set for March 5, 2025.
The high court acknowledged the Ministry&rsquo;s submissions and labeled the case a "sad and unfortunate" incident before disposing of the plea.

The deceased were identified as Yogesh H. Nagarajappa (37), Prathiba Y. Amarnath (37) and Yash Honnal (6).
Police said they are believed to be husband, wife and son.
&ldquo;Based on the initial investigation, the incident is believed to be a double murder-suicide that Nagarajappa committed,&rdquo; Baltimore County Police spokesperson Anthony Shelton was quoted as saying by The Baltimore Sun newspaper.
&ldquo;Each appeared to suffer from an apparent gunshot wound,&rdquo; Shelton added.
The family members were reportedly last seen alive on Tuesday evening, police said, adding that an autopsy would be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer to determine the manner and cause of death.
"I am heartbroken and deeply saddened for the innocent victims whose lives were cut short by this horrific act. We will do everything possible to assist family and community members following this tragic incident," a statement by Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski read.
Police said that there was no threat to the surrounding communities.&nbsp;
