A Delhi Court has granted divorce to singer Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar. Principal judge family court Paramjit Singh allowed the second motion filed in the matter, putting an end to nearly two-and-a-half-year long litigation.&nbsp; The period of six to 18 months is granted as a period of interregnum, which is intended to give time and opportunity to the parties to reflect on their move seeking divorce.&nbsp;
Honey Singh got married to Shalini Talwar in January 2011 and in September 2022, after 11 years of marriage, a divorce petition was mutually moved in the family court under section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. The court accepted the petition granting them an interregnum period of six months.
During an interview Advocate Ishan Mukherjee, appearing for Honey told,"The second motion has been granted and the divorce decree has been issued.&rdquo; However, he refused to comment any further about the matter, stating that it is a private matrimonial matter. Advocate Vivek Singh, counsel appearing for Talwar, also refused to comment on the issue stating that it is a matrimonial issue. In August 2021, Shalini also approached Delhi Tis Hazari Court and filed a case of domestic violence against the singer. Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has filed a complaint with Delhi Police after receiving a threat call from Goldy Brar, who is one of the main conspirators in the killing of singer-songwriter Sidhu Moose Wala in Punjab in 2022.
Honey Singh allegedly received the threat via a voice note. The investigation into the matter is underway.
Sidhu Moose Wala was killed near his village Moosa in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, 2022. Following his death, Goldy Brar admitted in a Facebook post that he had planned the murder to avenge the killing of another gangster.
Also known as Satinderjit Singh, Goldy Brar is a close aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is the main suspect in the Moose Wala murder case.
Brar's name was added to Canada's list of top 25 most wanted fugitives by Interpol-Ottawa's Fugitive Apprehension Support Team in May.
Brar is believed to be in Canada and represents a risk to public safety. The list states that the offences committed by him in India are &lsquo;very serious in nature&rsquo;.

Rapper-Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar have officially parted ways after 11 years of marriage and the former has reportedly paid Rs 1 crore in alimony for the divorce settlement. Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar tied the knot in 2011. 
Shalini approached Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court in 2021 and registered a domestic violence case against the singer alongside a compensation of ₹20 crores. In her complaint, she mentioned that during the marriage she has been assaulted physically and cheated on and Honey’s harassed her mentally and emotionally to an extent that she almost started identifying herself as a ‘farm animal.’
Honey refuted all allegations against him and called the charges 'malicious and false'. In a statement, Honey Singh said, ‘I am deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against me and my family by my companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs. Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, & negative media coverage in general. However, I see no merit in maintaining a studied silence this time because some of the allegations have been directed at my family – my old parents and younger sister – who have stood by me during some very difficult and trying times and comprise my world. The allegations are cynical and defaming in nature. I have been associated with the industry for over 15 years and worked with artists and musicians across the country. Everyone is aware of my relationship with my wife, who has been an integral part of my crew for more than a decade now and always accompanied me to my shoots, events, and meetings. I strongly refute all the allegations but will not comment any further because the matter is sub-judice before the Court of Law. Rapper-Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar have officially parted ways after 11 years of marriage and the former has reportedly paid Rs 1 crore in alimony for the divorce settlement.&nbsp; Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar tied the knot in 2011.&nbsp;
Shalini approached Delhi&rsquo;s Tis Hazari Court in 2021 and registered a domestic violence case against the singer alongside a compensation of ₹20 crores. In her complaint, she mentioned that during the marriage she has been assaulted physically and cheated on and Honey&rsquo;s harassed her mentally and emotionally to an extent that she almost started identifying herself as a &lsquo;farm animal.&rsquo;
Honey refuted all allegations against him and called the charges 'malicious and false'. In a statement, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/yo-yo-honey-singh-collaborates-with-musician-devi-sri-prasad-for-salman-khan-s-kabhi-eid-kabhi-diwali-1656847151942">Honey Singh</a> said, &lsquo;I am deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against me and my family by my companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs. Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. I have never issued a public statement or press note in the past despite being subjected to harsh criticism for my lyrics, speculation on my health, &amp; negative media coverage in general. However, I see no merit in maintaining a studied silence this time because some of the allegations have been directed at my family &ndash; my old parents and younger sister &ndash; who have stood by me during some very difficult and trying times and comprise my world. The allegations are cynical and defaming in nature. I have been associated with the industry for over 15 years and worked with artists and musicians across the country. Everyone is aware of my relationship with my wife, who has been an integral part of my crew for more than a decade now and always accompanied me to my shoots, events, and meetings. I strongly refute all the allegations but will not comment any further because the matter is sub-judice before the Court of Law. I have full faith in the judicial system of this country, and I am confident that the truth will be out soon.&rsquo;

Salman Khan fans are eagerly waiting for his next project, titled 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.' Well, the latest buzz is that the forthcoming film will have multiple music directors. According to a Pinkvilla report, well known musician Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP and Yo Yo Honey Singh have collaborated to compose a special peppy track for the film.  
The report stated that the makers have already recorded the groovy track and those who have heard the track cannot stop praising it.
