&lsquo;Hera Pheri 3&rsquo; will reportedly release in theatres in 2024 and it will take off from the point where &lsquo;Phir Hera Pheri&rsquo; ended. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, &lsquo;The fans have been eager to know what happens to the guns and Hera Pheri 3 will open with the closing scene of Phir Hera Pheri. The story from there will take a leap and take the three characters on an international ride of guns and mafia.&rsquo;
It further added that newer characters will be introduced, which includes Sanjay Dutt, who will play a gangster.
&lsquo;Very few know that the plot of Hera Pheri 3 is actually written by the late writer, Neeraj Vora, who been a key contributor to the earlier two Hera Pheri films. His plot has been given the modern flavour for the current context. Newer characters will be introduced in <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/paresh-rawal-reveals-kartik-aaryan-is-not-a-part-of-hera-pheri-3-1677229714574">Hera Pheri 3</a>, which includes Sanjay Dutt too as a gangster,&rsquo; it said.
The source also revealed a few details about Sanjay Dutt&rsquo;s character and said, &lsquo;Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Ravi Kishan&rsquo;s distant brother. Ravi Kishan is one of the many characters fooled by Raju, Shyam and Baburao in Phir Hera Pheri. Sanjay&rsquo;s come into picture in the comic capacity to represent the whacky track around Ravi Kishan and Sharat Saxena.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Here Pheri 3&rsquo; will be directed by Farhad Samji. It is expected to go on floors in the second half of 2023.&nbsp;

Farhad Samji has joined hands with Disney+ Hotstar for an upcoming comedy show &lsquo;Pop Kaun&rsquo; as creator-director, according to news agency PTI. &nbsp;The series, which will be produced by Yam Productions, promises to bring together the best in comedy for a riotous, entertaining watch.
In a statement, the filmmaker said that he is excited to explore the genre in a format other than movies.
&lsquo;After creating multiple movies in the comedy space, I wanted to explore a different format with this genre and bring all the legends of comedy together. With Pop Kaun coming soon on Disney+ Hotstar, the idea was to create a fun family binge-watch show for audiences across generations,&rsquo; Samji said.
Some of Farhad Samji&rsquo;s best-known works include directing the comedy films <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/watch-trailer-of-housefull-4-1569583207971">&lsquo;Housefull 4&rsquo;</a>, and &lsquo;Bachchhan Paandey&rsquo; and co-directing &lsquo;Entertainment&rsquo; and &lsquo;Housefull 3&rsquo; with Sajid Samji.
&lsquo;Pop Kaun&rsquo; will soon start streaming on the OTT platform. Disney+ Hotstar is yet to share the details about the cast of the show.&nbsp;

Actor Akshay Kumar has finally joined the &lsquo;Hera Pheri&rsquo; franchise, but now everyone is wondering if Kartik Aaryan will be a part of the comedy caper. A few days back, &lsquo;Hera Pheri 3&rsquo;s teaser was shot for which actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal reunited.
In a new interview, Paresh has revealed that contrary to his previous announcement, Kartik may not be a part of the third instalment at all.
Talking to Mid-Day, the actor said, &lsquo;As far as I know, initially, both Kartik and Akshay were to do the film, but it didn&rsquo;t work out. I don&rsquo;t know what happened.&rsquo;
The actor also shared that the film will go on the floors in three months and it will see Raju, Shyam and Babu Bhaiya going abroad. He said, &lsquo;We&rsquo;ll begin shooting in three months. It will be a [long] schedule in Mumbai. The movie will also be shot in international locations like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Los Angeles, as Babu bhaiyya, Raju and Shyam go abroad. The original star cast of the hit franchise recently met producer Firoz Nadiadwala at Empire Studios in Mumbai and had a long discussion, as reported by Pinkvilla. This is the first time in years that the original team of &lsquo;Hera Pheri&rsquo; was in the same roof.
A source told Pinkvilla that the team is now in talks with two directors and the things will be finalised in the next 10 to 15 days following which the official announcement will be made regarding the project.

Actor Akshay Kumar finally confirmed his exit from &lsquo;Hera Pheri&rsquo; franchise during a session of Hindustan Times Leadership Summit on Saturday, November 12. He mentioned that he didn&rsquo;t sign the forthcoming third installment of the popular franchise due to creative differences.
&lsquo;'Hera Pheri' has been a part of me. A lot of people have memories and even I have good memories of it. But I feel sad that we haven't made the third part for so many years. The film was offered to me but I was not satisfied with the screenplay and the script. I was not happy with it,&rsquo; Kumar said at the HT Leadership Summit here.
&lsquo;I have to do what people want to see. So I backed out. For me, 'Hera Pheri' is a part of life, my journey in a huge way. I'm equally sad about it and that I'm not able to do the third part. But I'm not happy with the way things have shaped up creatively,&rsquo; he added.
Akshay starred alongside veteran actor Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in the original &lsquo;Hera Pheri&rsquo;, which was released in 2000, followed by a sequel, titled &lsquo;Phir Hera Pheri&rsquo; (2006), in which the trio reprised their respective roles of Raju, Babu Bhaiya and Shyam.
Kartik Aaryan will be replaced Akshay in the third instalment of &lsquo;Hera Pheri&rsquo; as confirmed by Paresh Rawal. However, Internet is unhappy, and &lsquo;No Akshay, no Heri Pheri&rsquo; trended on Twitter on Friday, November 11.
Akshay was also asked why he works so much that he has 4-5 releases a year, to which he responded, &lsquo;Tell me, does anyone here ask their kids why they work so much? People ask &iacute;tni gambling kyun karta hai, itna peeta kyun hai (why do you gamble so much, why do you drink so much)&rsquo;. But who questions someone for working a lot?&rsquo;
Defending his decision to do four films a year, he said would continue to do so in the future as well. &lsquo;I do four films a year. Yes, I do it. I do ads, sure. I work, but I am not stealing from anyone. I don't understand. Mediapersons ask me why do you get up early? But, morning is for waking up, right. They ask me why do you sleep so early. Arre bewakoof, raat ko sota hai aadmi (You fool, people sleep at night). I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I will work, who won&rsquo;t if they have a chance to do work. I will do four films. I will give 50 days if required and 90 days if needed,&rsquo; he said.

Paresh, who played the character of Babu Rao in the first two films, confirmed that the young actor will be a part of the third film. On Twitter, a fan asked Paresh if the rumours of Kartik being a part of the third installment of the popular franchise were true. To which, Rawal said, &lsquo;Yes it&rsquo;s true.&rsquo;
A recent Pinkvilla report stated that Akshay was keen to revisit the iconic film, but he has decided to take a step back as he couldn&rsquo;t align with the broad script ideas.
A source told the publication that Akshay Kumar is well aware of his fans&rsquo; expectations of him in these comedy franchises. However, he refused to compromise on the quality of these scripts, as attempts to remake these sequels without proper thought and with other actors have already failed in the past.
According to Pinkvilla, &lsquo;Hera Pheri 3&rsquo; was announced earlier with Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. The film even went on floors, but the shooting was stalled mid-way due to multiple reasons.
