Sri Lanka stars Wanindu Hasaranga and Bhanuka Rajapaksa alongside South Africa's David Miller and England's Alex Hales got picked by the franchises for the Pakistan Super League draft for this season. 

The 6 PSL teams had to pick from the Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging, and supplementary category.&nbsp;

Sri Lanka stars Wanindu Hasaranga and Bhanuka Rajapaksa alongside South Africa's David Miller and England's Alex Hales got picked by the franchises during the Pakistan Super League draft for the 2023 edition. The player draft took place for the upcoming season on Thursday and over 500 players participated. The 6 teams had to pick from the Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, Emerging, and supplementary category.&nbsp; While Quetta Gladiators chose Hasaranga, Miller was picked up by Multan Sultans. Hales went to Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi roped in Rajapaksa. Naseem Shah and Fakhar Zaman were chosen by Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars respectively during the Platinum round.&nbsp;

Chasing which, the Men in Green were reduced to 22/2. Pakistan once again looked towards Mohammad Rizwan to bail them out of trouble and he did try his best with a gritty 55. But not much support from the other end meant that Pakistan was all out for 147.
Sri Lanka extended its winning run to 5 games and certainly saved the best for the last. In fact, it was the first time the Lankans defended a score in T20Is in 2022.

After getting all out for 68 in their first meeting, the Faf du Plessis-led side crushed SRH by 67-runs at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday evening. RCB who remain in 4th spot, strengthen their position on the points table with their 7th win in the IPL points table.  Chasing a mammoth 192, Sunrisers Hyderabad got a horror start as both their openers walked back to the pavilion in the first over itself. Rahul Tripathi was fighting a lone battle. The batter smashed a 58 in 37 but did not get any help from the other end, except Aiden Markram, along with whom he made a valuable 50-run stand before the latter fell to Hasaranga. With his 5 wicket haul, the Sri Lankan cricketer restricted SRH to just 125 in 19.5 overs.
Earlier, Virat Kohli went back to the pavilion for the third time on a golden duck. However, RCB captain Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar stitched a 105-run stand for the second wicket. Jagadeesha Suchith ended Rajat's innings at 48 but Faf du Plessis remained unbeaten for 73 runs and kept one end intact.
