Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday inaugurated various projects with a total worth Rs 4200 crore to the state including developmental projects worth Rs 3600 crore and a Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) worth Rs 600 crore.
Khattar inaugurated 392 projects worth Rs 938 crore in 22 districts and laid the foundation stone of 679 projects worth Rs 2684 crore in all the districts.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on March 6 flagged off the first bus carrying 52 devotees for Ayodhya's Ram Temple under the CM Teerth Yatra Scheme.
Speaking to reporters, Khattar said, "Following the inauguration of the historic Ram temple, the state government had promised citizens to ferry them to the temple for darshan. Fulfilling the same promised, we launched the first bus today.
According to the information, 52 devotees will reach Lucknow tomorrow and will do darshan on Friday. The bus will return to Haryana the next day.&nbsp;

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday announced that a special task force under the Anti-Corruption Bureau would be formed to investigate alleged irregularities in cooperative societies in all districts.
Strict action will be taken against those found guilty in the investigation which will cover the time period from 1992 onwards, Khattar said in the state assembly.
The opposition, through a 'Calling Attention' notice, raised the alleged scam in the integrated cooperative development project (ICDP) alleging that public representative and government officials have colluded with the auditors for personal gains and misused government funds.
Haryana&rsquo;s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had recently busted what it had claimed was a major scam in the ICDP and said 14 persons, including 10 senior officers and four private individuals, were arrested for their involvement in the alleged scam.
Congress members pointed out that the ACB had recently, in a statement, had claimed that it was about Rs 100 crore scam.
However, in the House, Khattar stated that irregularities amounting to Rs 8.80 crore have been found in the investigation of societies in four districts.
Some assistant registrars and district registrars of cooperative societies, colluding with an auditor, misappropriated funds for personal gain, an official statement had said earlier, while adding they misused government funds deposited in official accounts to purchase flats, land, and other assets, etc and further attempted to cover their tracks by forging government documents and bank details.
After concerned minister gave his reply on the issue, Khattar said in the assembly that the BJP-led government conducted audits of these societies, and upon discovering discrepancies, the government taken suo motu cognizance of the matter and handed it over to the ACB for investigation.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Feb 26 said that the ratio of loans taken by the state government is within the limit of 3 percent of GSDP. As the GSDP of the state increases in line with development, the limit of taking loans also increases proportionately.
The state government is borrowing within that limit as much as is required according to the ratio of GSDP, informed Manohar Lal while speaking on the discussions on budget estimates for the fiscal year 2024-25 during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.&nbsp;
The Chief Minister said that Congress leaders always claim that the debt figures of their time was Rs. 70,000 crores but they never add the debt of DISCOMs which is Rs. &nbsp;27,000 &nbsp;crores. The present State Government had set a target to clear this Rs. 27,000 &nbsp;crores in five years, and by next five years this debt will be paid off, he said.&nbsp;
He said that if Congress leaders do not include this amount of Rs. 27,000 &nbsp;crores in their debt, then we will also have to reduce this amount and share the debt figures accordingly. Besides &nbsp;this, Rs. 17,000 crores have also been reduced from the debt of public sector undertakings of the previous government, said Manohar Lal.
The Chief Minister said that as per the Finance Commission, the government can borrow up to 3 percent of GSDP. During COVID-19, this limit was increased to 3.5 percent. Even then, the state government remained below 3 percent. As much as borrowings are required according to the ratio of GSDP, the state government is taking loans within that limit.

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said a scheme will soon be prepared for the rehabilitation of poor people residing in slums at Kharak Mangoli village, Rajiv and Indira colonies in Panchkula. About 7500 slums have been identified to benefit under this scheme.
Manohar Lal was interacting with the media persons soon after inspecting the land identified for the rehabilitation of people, at village Kharak Mangoli in Panchkula today. Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta was also present on this occasion.
Manohar Lal said that people in village Kharak Mangoli, Rajiv and Indira colonies have been living in unauthorized slums for years. To remove unauthorized encroachments and rehabilitate people, 59.12 acres of land have been identified in Kharak Mangoli village by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).&nbsp;
He directed the HSVP to hold a meeting soon with Forest, Public Works, Irrigation and Water Resources and Revenue Departments to discuss all aspects related to this land and prepare a scheme accordingly.
The Chief Minister said that in view of rehabilitation scheme to be prepared for slum dwellers of Kharak Mangoli, Rajiv and Indira colonies, he himself visited Dhanas and Maloya areas of Chandigarh along with Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker today and interacted with the residents as well as officers of the administration. He said that before finalizing the scheme, discussions will be held with all stakeholders on various models. If necessary, the government will also facilitate loans for beneficiaries through banks, he added.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday launched the 'Van Mitra' scheme and its portal to encourage community participation in tree planting activities in non-forest areas.
The members of families with an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh can register to become 'Van Mitras'.
Khattar said that the objective of this scheme is to directly involve the local public in increasing forest areas across the state, ensuring an increase in the survival rate of afforestation, and promoting tree planting in non-forest areas.
Each van mitra will receive an incentive based on the maintenance of the plant and they can plant a maximum of 1,000 saplings. Any individual aged between 18 and 60 can become a van mitra, according to an official statement.
In the first phase of the scheme, the selection of 7500 van mitra will be done through the portal. A van mitra can choose non-forest land for tree planting in their village, town, or city.
If the planted tree grows on the van mitra&rsquo;s own land, they will be considered the owner of the tree.

The government has identified poor families through the PPP, an umbrella scheme of the government. Dedicated efforts are being made to ensure the reach of every welfare scheme at the doorsteps of every beneficiary. The state government is working towards strengthening the infrastructural development and character building, said Manohar Lal while speaking at a program organized in Rohtak district.
He said that the government has transformed the old systems in the state. Powers have been delegated to various departments to carry out public welfare works promptly, and a transparent system. The state government is working with the motto of &lsquo;Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek&rsquo; to ensure the holistic development of the State.
The Chief Minister said that he has donated his ancestral home to create an e-library for the society, and he has also donated one acre of land out of his three-acre share. The government has established 1000 e-libraries in the state, and more e-libraries are being set up in every village to facilitate the youth. The state government's policy of providing jobs based on merit has instilled confidence in the youth for education, he said.

Additionally, the Haryana Right to Service Commission imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Alamgir and granted Rs 5,000 compensation to the complainant.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department's Chief Secretary and Finance Secretary were directed to ensure a swift investigation into the matter.

During the meeting, the Chairman of Gau Sewa Aayog, Shravan Kumar Garg, informed that from January 10, 2024, until now, a total of 8,200 destitute cows have been relocated to gaushalas across the entire state.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, taking an important step towards making the state free from stray cattle, has directed to launch of a special campaign from February 15 to 29 to relocate about 60,000 destitute cows to nearby gaushalas. The primary objective of this campaign is to remove stray cows from the state's roads and mitigate the risk of road accidents.
Manohar Lal was presiding over a meeting regarding the establishment of new gaushalas in the state. Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Sh J.P. Dalal was also present.
While giving instructions to the concerned officials of the Gau Sewa Aayog, the Chief Minister said that under this campaign, the task of relocating destitute cows to gaushalas should be expedited to ensure the protection of cows in the state.
While instructing the officials, the Chief Minister said that further action should be taken on the proposals of panchayats for establishing gaushalas. Additionally, he directed the officials of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department and the Panchayati Raj Department to identify land for cow grazing in villages. In villages where cow grazing land exceeding 10 acres is identified, discussions should be initiated with the Panchayats for establishing gaushalas. Furthermore, a committee comprising officials from the Gau Sewa Aayog, Development and Panchayat Department, and other relevant departments should be formed to oversee this process.
Manohar Lal instructed the officials of Gau Sewa Aayog to ensure that cows are accommodated within the capacity of the gaushalas. Additionally, he emphasized the need for regular inspections of the gaushalas to ensure proper care and accommodation of the cattle.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday launched the Haryana Trust-Based Reading Mobile App for the convenience of electricity consumers. This mobile app is based on the 'Haryana Trust-Based Reading' of Haryana DISCOMs.
Energy Minister Ranjit Singh also present on this occasion while Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta joined virtually.
The Chief Minister informed that this Haryana Trust-Based Reading Mobile App is being launched in the initial phase on a pilot basis in the districts of Panchkula, Karnal, Mahendragarh, and Hisar. This initiative is expected to benefit 10,70,000 power consumers. He said that electricity bills in the state are issued once every two months, causing financial difficulties for many consumers who prefer to receive monthly bills. &nbsp;Fulfilling their demand, this app has been created to choose the option of monthly billing. Through this, consumers can select a bi-monthly or monthly bill.
The Chief Minister further shared that the state government has decided to empower electricity consumers by allowing them to generate their electricity bills. By using this app, consumers can change their billing schedule from bi-monthly to monthly and can generate their electricity bills online by entering the current reading of their meters. He added that consumers can also make payments for their bills through this mobile app.

A grand museum dedicated to the preservation and enrichment of the Sikh culture will come up in Kurukshetra's Pipli, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Wednesday.
Taking inspiration from the values and ideals of the Sikh Gurus, Khattar said this museum will serve as a "repository of inspiration" for future generations.
He was addressing a gathering after releasing a book based on the works done by the state government for "Guru Sewa" during an event at the Kurukshetra University.
On the occasion, Khattar said a separate Gurdwara Management Committee has already been formed for running affairs of the gurdwaras in Haryana.
He said there had been a long-standing dispute over the management of gurdwaras in Haryana, "but after putting up a strong legal fight in the Supreme Court, a separate Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was established for Haryana".

In a significant step towards enhancing connectivity and facilitating seamless transportation across Haryana, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has granted administrative approval for Improvement of ODR&rsquo;s Roads in Safidon, Jind.
&nbsp;This project encompasses the improvement of ODR&rsquo;s at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.10 crore.
The roads serving rural areas of production and providing them with outlet to market centres, tehsil headquarters, block development headquarters, railway stations etc. are known as Other District Roads (ODRs).
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson declared that those projects include special repair and improvement of spanning 4.33 km road from Jamni Retoli to Bania Khera to Teli Khera in Jind District with an estimated budget of Rs. 2.52 crore, Widening and strengthening of Bhuslana to Didwara road at Safidon in Jind spanning 3 km with an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore, Special repair of Ludana to Nizampur road in Jind spanning 1.53 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.10 crore, Dhairath to Raichandwala Road in Jind Distt spanning 3.62 km at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.74 crore, Ratta Khera to Singhpura road spanning 2.10 km with an estimated cost Rs. 1.11 crore.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, inaugurated the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness at the Psychology Department of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on Wednesday.
The Happiness Center, established in collaboration with the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness, aims to provide a platform for students, teachers, employees, and the general public to explore the principles of happiness, cope with life changes, and effectively navigate challenges.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Manohar Lal highlighted the significance of incorporating the science of happiness into education. He emphasized that by imparting knowledge about happiness, students can combat stress in the technological era, fostering a positive mindset to achieve their goals successfully.
The Chief Minister extended his congratulations to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva, Rekhi Foundation representatives Dr. Kiranjot Singh and Dr. Prabhleen Singh, and their entire team for their efforts in establishing this transformative center.
