Guneet Monga&rsquo;s wedding invitation has a filmy twist as it is inspired by her favourite film &lsquo;DDLJ&rsquo; and has iconic elements such as a train and &lsquo;sarson ke khet&rsquo;.

Filmmaker Guneet Monga is all set to tie the knot on December 12 and her wedding invitation is now going viral on the internet which is unique and inspired from the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge'.
The invite has film&rsquo;s iconic elements such as a red 'Punjab Mail' train that has &lsquo;Guneet weds Sunny&rsquo; written on the last bogey. It also features two hands holding each other inside a train and &lsquo;sarson ke khet&rsquo; drawn around the edges to reflect the film and its impact on their love story.
The text on the invitation reads &lsquo;Sometimes, the wrong train takes you to the right station. Welcome to our right station....&rsquo; &nbsp;
Earlier, Guneet shared an adorable picture with fianc&eacute; Sunny Kapoor and penned a long note to show how fascinated she was with the film. A few eminent celebrities praised her for her post. She stared the note with &lsquo;DDLJ ruined me&hellip; Like every girl growing up in the 90s, I too have been on a constant lookout for my Raj ever since I was 18.&rsquo; She also mentioned that she had cursed her job, looks and intelligence for not getting a better half till her 30s. She also mentioned that she tried to miss the last Euro train to create the iconic &lsquo;DDLJ&rsquo; scene.

Filmmaker Guneet Monga is all set to tie the knot with fashion entrepreneur Sunny Kapoor on December 12 in Mumbai. Ahead of D-day, she took to social media and penned a heartfelt post chronicling her love story and its connection with 1995 blockbuster &lsquo;Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge&rsquo;, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
Guneet Monga revealed how she had been looking for her Raj after watching DDLJ and is now finally getting married at 39.
She said that everyone would always tell her, at the right time the right person will come into her life, and this irritated her the most! She would question herself why her time has not come yet and even cursed her body, intelligence, way of talking, education, and job for the same.
Her note read, &lsquo;DDLJ ruined me&hellip; Like every girl growing up in the 90s, I too have been on a constant lookout for my Raj ever since I was 18. Anyone I dated, I ran to my friends to tell them this is it, I found my partner for the rest of my life. Some even indulged me a couple of times but mostly rolled their eyes and wanted to say, &ldquo;Guneet please just take your time&rdquo;. I never wanted to take my time, my magical forever started from Day 1. I was ready to commit from Day 1!&rsquo;
She continued, &lsquo;Everyone would always tell me, at the right time the right person will come into my life, and this irritated me the most! Why on earth has my time not come? Ab toh chaalis saal hogaye (its 40 years already), actually 39 but a round figure sounds better na. And every time an extended family member would ask me, &ldquo;Beta shaadi nahi ki (you are yet not married)&rdquo;, I would reply, &ldquo;Koi dhoond do, kal karloongi (get one for me, I will get married tomorrow)&rdquo;, and they would have no answer. Just &ldquo;Beta hum kahan se dhoondhein&hellip; tum toh film industry mein ho na (how can we find a match for you, you are from the film industry)&rdquo;. Now that is also my fault.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Honestly, I have cursed my body, my intelligence, my way of talking, my education, my middle-class life and even my job designation to be able to find someone! Wait, did I tell you, I have also tried missing the last Euro train but wahan pe door automatic shut hotey hain and no one keeps their hand out to pull you in! Haath kat jayenge behenon!,&rsquo; she added.
Concluding her note, Guneet Monga said, &lsquo;My dear girlfriends, can I tell you, when the time is right and when that person comes into your life, you just know it. When he shows you how much YOU mean to him. That kind of love is everything.&rsquo;
