&lsquo;Fukrey 3&rsquo; is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
&lsquo;Fukrey 3&rsquo; was released in theatres on September 28 and it received a mixed response from fans and critics.
The first instalment of the film was released in 2013 and received huge love and appreciation from the audience. &lsquo;Fukrey Returns&rsquo; was released in 2017. Actor Ali Fazal, who appeared in the first two instalments of the hit franchise, is not a part of the third instalment.
Ali had issued a statement confirming his exit from the franchise. He shared he did not work on &lsquo;Fukrey 3&rsquo; owing to a scheduling conflict with Mirzapur 3 season.
Reacting to Ali&rsquo;s absence from the film, actor Pulkit Samrat told news agency ANI, &lsquo;We actually miss him a lot. We have a lot of fun with him during the promotions or even during the shoot. He also gives very interesting inputs, but unfortunately due to his dates and time he will not be seen in Part 3, but who knows, he might be in Part 4.&rsquo;

&lsquo;Fukrey 3&rsquo; clashed at the box office with Vivek Agnihotri&rsquo;s &lsquo;The Vaccine War&rsquo;, which only managed to make Rs 1.3 crore on its opening day.
&lsquo;Jawan&rsquo;, starring Shah Rukh Khan, which was released on September 7, is still going strong at the box office. With a three day &lsquo;buy 1 get 1&rsquo; offer, Jawan made Rs 5.50 crore on its 22nd day, taking the film&rsquo;s nett domestic collection to Rs 581.43 crore.
At the trailer launch of the film, producer Ritesh Sidhwani spoke about the trend of sequels working at the box office and said that there have been many franchises that have not sustained the momentum.
&lsquo;I know sequels which have not worked also. I am not going to name them. It works if the characters are great and there is enough love for the film for people to consume it. You should continue to make the film if you feel that the story is organically and seamlessly moving forward because there is already a fanbase for the film, but you have to deliver,&rsquo; he said.

Days before the film's release, &lsquo;Fukrey 3 leaked&rsquo; has been trending on X (previously known as Twitter).
Several screenshots from Telegram and YouTube claim that the film has been leaked on various platforms, including Torrent. But, there's a catch.
The 'leaked' movie of 'Fukrey 3' begins by saying that the film is set six years after the events of 'Fukrey 2'.
Pulkit, Pankaj and Varun are engaged in a conversation, but something is wrong. When Pulkit delivers a dialogue, it looks like Pankaj is voicing it. Everyone's roles seem to be reversed in the viral clip which left everyone confused.
Now, it has been revealed that this is a fake 'Fukrey 3' movie.

The makers of 'Fukrey' announced a new release date for the third installment of the popular franchise on June 13.
The film&rsquo;s production house Excel Entertainment made the announcement with a fun video. The tagline of the film reads, 'The Jugaadu boys are back.'

The regular cast members of the franchise were seen on posters sans Ali Fazal. Fans were curious to know if he was returning to the franchise, or not.
