Defying gravity and expectations, Roose pushed the limits of courage by walking above the Bosporus Bridge in Istanbul on Sunday.
The 32-year-old completed the challenge by walking from the Asian side of the Bosporus to the European side, covering a distance of just over one kilometre.
This isn't the first daredevil stunt by Jaan Roose, In July this year, covered a distance of 3.6 kilometres on a slackline that was hooked from Italy to Sicily. In 2 hours and 57 minutes, he completed the walk by taking a total of 15,660 steps to carefully cover the distance and became the first person to successfully walk across Italy&rsquo;s Strait of Messina.

The WHO has reported an outbreak of psittacosis, also commonly known as parrot fever. Five deaths have been reported in Europe.

Five people have succumbed to Parrot fever in Europe after an uptick in infections has been observed since 2023. WHO reported that the rare bacterial infection can be found in a variety of wild and pet birds and poultry.
The disease does not spread through eating the infected animal and is usually transmitted by breathing in the dust from an infected bird&rsquo;s secretions. The outbreak has been mostly observed in European countries like Austria, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
The symptoms of the disease include headaches, muscle pain, a dry cough, fever and chills, as per CNN. The symptoms usually subside by antibiotics, making the disease mostly non-fatal for humans.
WHO said it will be closely monitoring the outbreak of parrot fever, which is also known as psittacosis. The bacteria behind the disease belongs to the Chlamydia family, as per CNN.
The US CDC reported that mostly people make a full recovery from the disease. However, some may develop complications including pneumonia, endocarditis, hepatitis and inflammation of the nerves or the brain.

They said it will be a historic and first of its kind initiative for cooperation on connectivity and infrastructure involving India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Europian Union, France, Italy, Germany and the US.
The development comes amid the ongoing G20 summit which, in a major diplomatic breakthrough for India, agreed on a join declaration.

Multiple flights across Europe were delayed after the United Kingdom&rsquo;s air traffic control experienced a &ldquo;technical issue.&rdquo; However, the UK airspace remained open.
While the cause behind the issue is still being investigated, authorities applied traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety.
The UK&rsquo;s National Air Traffic Services, which experienced the failure, manages over 2.5 million flights in a year.

British Airways said it was working with NATS to "understand the impact" of the issue, and said it will keep customers updated. Other airlines are also asking customers to check for updates.

The European Parliament will vote on Thursday on a proposal to ban the use of live facial recognition technology in public spaces as part of the world's first artificial intelligence (AI) laws. The ban is part of a package of proposals that could see companies fined up to &euro;10m or removed from trading in the EU for breaches of the rules. The proposed amendment to Article 5 of the proposed AI Act prohibits the use of cameras to follow people in public places and also bans companies from using AI to identify individuals by matching scans on CCTV with images posted on social media platforms. The AI Act has been in the making for almost two years and is expected to become the gold standard of regulation around the world.
