Ever since she made the announcement, Selma has done a lot to raise awareness about this disease.
Selma Blair also posted pictures from the Emmys on Instagram and penned a gratitude note to everyone for accepting her and added how she was basking at the moment.Recently, Selma announced that she'll participate in the 31st season of &lsquo;Dancing With the Stars&rsquo; with her partner Sasha Farber.

While accepting the award, Lizzo broke down in tears and urged her backup dancers, selected from the TV series, to join her onstage. She said, &lsquo;The trophy is nice but my emotion is for these people who are on this stage with me, the stories that they shared. They&rsquo;re not that unique, they just don&rsquo;t get the platform. &hellip; Let&rsquo;s just tell more stories.&rsquo;
She talked about what diverse representation in film and TV means to her.
&lsquo;When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media. Someone fat like me. Black like me. Beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something, I would be like, &lsquo;You&rsquo;re going to see that person, but bitch, it&rsquo;s going to have to be you,&rsquo; she said.
Lizzo concluded her speech by asking the audience to &lsquo;make some noise&rsquo; for her Big Grrls.
