Sobhita Dhulipala is reportedly in talks to join Ranveer Singh's &lsquo;Don 3&rsquo;. According to recent reports, the actor, who recently got engaged to Naga Chaitanya, has been approached for an item song in the third installment of the hit franchise. Sources suggest that Sobhita has had multiple meetings with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar regarding the role.

Although discussions are ongoing, Sobhita Dhulipala has yet to finalize her appearance in &lsquo;Don 3&rsquo;. &lsquo;Talks are in progress, but no decision has been made yet. However, Sobhita has had several meetings with Farhan and the team,&rsquo; the report noted.

&lsquo;Don 3&rsquo; is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films. Last year, Farhan Akhtar surprised everyone by releasing a teaser and confirming Ranveer Singh as the new Don. In a later interview with BBC Asian Network, Farhan addressed the backlash over replacing SRK in &lsquo;Don 3&rsquo;.
&lsquo;I&rsquo;m really excited to get it started. Ranveer is fantastic for the role. He&rsquo;s both thrilled and nervous, knowing he&rsquo;s stepping into big shoes. We experienced the same emotions when Shah Rukh replaced Mr. Bachchan. It&rsquo;s a process,&rsquo; he explained.

The duo discussed the challenges of making this army-based film and expressed pride that their work has stood the test of time, inspiring thousands to join the Indian Army.
During the conversation, Farhan was asked about his next directorial project. He revealed, &lsquo;We start filming Don 3 next year. I am really looking forward to it. We have announced Jee Le Zaraa as well, so that&rsquo;s another film that I will be directing. It has been a while since I directed a film, and I can&rsquo;t complain about it as I enjoyed being a part of some wonderful films. I do feel a very strong urge to direct these films.&rsquo;
When asked about the timeline for the shoot, Farhan replied, &lsquo;It&rsquo;s not just about my dates. There are many people involved, and the dates need to match. But, you will definitely see these two films from me as a director.&rsquo;
Farhan Akhtar is gearing up to start his next acting venture before switching to &lsquo;Don 3&rsquo; with Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. As reported by Pinkvilla, Don 3 will be followed by Jee Le Zaraa, aiming to reunite the original trio of Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Don', helmed by Farhan Akhtar, was released in theatres 16 years ago on October 20. The film was a remake of a Amitabh Bachchan&rsquo;s 1978 classic of the same. Actor-director Farhan shared a video featuring the &lsquo;Don&rsquo; theme music and graphic footage of the first film.
Taking to Instagram, Farhan wrote 'Happy birthday Don. 16 years and counting (sic).'
As soon as the video was shared, the comment section was flooded with users demanding &lsquo;Don 3&rsquo;. Famous comedian Sapan Verma also commented and wrote 'We want Don 3. #iykyk' while another user wrote 'Please tell me this is a hint for the next one'.
'Don 2' released in 2011 and was even a bigger success than the original. The film set a benchmark for action and thriller films. Towards the end of the movie, Farhan had teased 'Don 3' by writing it on the license plate of Don's motor bike. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the film.
