Speaking about the watch, jeweller Harshit Bansal said that his goal was clear to make a classy watch that is easy to wear.

In record-breaking news, a Meerut-based jeweller has created Guinness World Record for setting 17,524 diamonds on a watch. The jeweller behind this marvellous job is Harshit Bansal who is the founder and CEO of Renani Jewels.&nbsp;
It took around 11 months to make this watch which is made of 17,512 white diamonds and 12 black. The watch weighs 373.03 grams and 54.70-carat diamonds have been used to make this watch.&nbsp;
The name of this watch is Srinkia which means 'the watch of good fortunes'.
Speaking about the watch, Bansal said that his goal was clear to make a classy watch that is easy to wear. Moreover, Bansal has broken the record of Hong Kong-based Aaron Shum Jewelry Ltd., who had achieved the record in December 2018 by making a watch with 15,858 diamonds.&nbsp;
Bansal had created a record earlier too in 2020 with a ring that he had made with 12,638 natural diamonds set in it.

Know all about lab-grown diamonds that Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned in Budget 2023.

In the Budget 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned lab-grown diamonds. She said that the custom duty on seeds that are used to make lab-grown diamonds will be reduced.&nbsp;
She also mentioned that it is a tech-driven emerging sector with high-employment potential and said that IIT will be given a research and development grant for five years.&nbsp;
<h3>What are lab-grown diamonds?</h3>
As the name suggests, lab-grown diamonds are created in a lab. These diamonds are made with detailed technology and are as authentic as real diamonds. However, they don't have durability like real diamonds and they are made from the diamond stimulants like white sapphire, YAG, or Moissanite.

A pink diamond was sold for $49.9 million in Hong Kong on Friday, setting a world record for the highest price per carat for a diamond sold at auction.
The 11.15-carat Williamson Pink Star diamond, auctioned by Sotheby's Hong Kong, sold for $392 million Hong Kong dollars ($49.9 million).
It was originally estimated at $21 million.
The Williamson Pink Star draws its name from two legendary pink diamonds.
The first is the 23.60-carat Williamson diamond which was presented to the late Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding gift in 1947, while the second is the 59.60-carat Pink Star diamond that sold for a record $71.2 million at auction in 2017.
The Williamson Pink Star is the second-largest pink diamond to appear at auction.
Pink diamonds are among the rarest and most valuable of the colored diamonds.
“When you consider an alluring link to Queen Elizabeth, the rising prices for pink diamonds thanks to their increasing rarity, and the backdrop of an unstable global economy, this diamond could prove to be a very compelling proposal for the right person,” said Tobias Kormind, managing director of 77 Diamonds.
“Hard assets such as world-class diamonds have a history of performing well. Some of the world's highest quality diamonds have seen prices double over the last 10 years,” he said.

As many as 15 diamonds were mined by people in the last two days in the shallow mines of Panna in Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, an official said on Friday.
The stones collectively weigh a total of 35.86 carat and will fetch around Rs 1 crore during the official auction, he said.
Prakash Majumdar, a labourer, found a diamond weighing 3.64 carat at Jaruapar mines on Wednesday, mining department inspector Anupam Singh said.
Similarly, Kallu Sonkar extracted a 6.81 carat diamond, Rajesh Jain 2.28 carats, Rahul Agrawal 4.32 carats and Rajabai Raikwar 1.77 carat stones from the mines in Krishnakalyanpur Pati, he said.
At least 10 diamonds of varying weights were extracted from the shallow mines of Krishnakalyanpur Pati on Thursday, the official said.
Dukman Ahirwar became the luckiest miner, as he found six diamonds weighing about 2.46 carats, he said.
Similarly, Ashok Khare extracted two diamonds of 6.37 carats, while Jagan Jadia found a stone weighing 4.74 carats and Lakhan Kevat 3.47 carats, the official said.
The precious stones were deposited with the Diamond Office and will be auctioned from October 18 onwards, he said.
The raw diamonds will be auctioned and the proceeds after deduction of the government royalty and taxes will go to the people who found the stones, the official said.

Lucapa Diamond Company Limited, Endiama EP and Rosas and Petalas, partners in Sociedade Mineira Do Lulo (&ldquo;SML&rdquo;) announced the recovery of the rare pink Type IIa diamond from the Lulo alluvial mine.
&ldquo;This record and spectacular pink diamond recovered from Lulo continues to showcase Angola as an important player on the world stage,&rdquo; Country&rsquo;s Mineral Resources Minister Diamantino Azevedo said.
