Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has started shooting for Dharma Productions' first action film franchise "Yodha". The Karan Johar-owned production company shared the on-set pictures from the day of the filming.
Sidharth posted photographs from the shoot, including a welcome letter from the banner, on Instagram. "Lights, camera and… ACTION! #Yodha filming begins," a post on Dharma Productions' official handle read.
The movie will be helmed by debutant director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. Shashank Khaitan is also producing via his banner Mentor Disciple Films. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on November 11, 2022.
Before "Yodha", Sidharth has starred in many Dharma projects including his debut movie "Student of the Year", "Hasee Toh Phasee", "Kapoor & Sons" and his latest hit "Shershaah".

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao took to their respective social media handles to announce their next film together. They duo shared a teaser which revealed both the actors' names in the film. While Janhvi plays the role of Mahima, Rajkummar plays Mahendra.

Former Air Force pilot&nbsp;Gunjan Saxena&nbsp;on Thursday told the Delhi High Court that she has not faced any discrimination on the basis of her gender in the Indian Air Force.&nbsp;She maintained that Air Force gave her an opportunity to serve the nation, including in the Kargil War and she will forever remain grateful for the opportunities given to her by the force. Her submission came amid controversy over the film&nbsp;''Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl''. Centre has moved court claiming that the Netflix&nbsp;movie depicts IAF&nbsp;in poor light and shows it as gender biased.

New Delhi, PTI: Former Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena Thursday told the Delhi High Court that she has not faced any discrimination on the basis of her gender in the Indian Air Force. She maintained that Air Force gave her an opportunity to serve the nation, including in the Kargil War and she will forever remain grateful for the opportunities given to her by the force.
Saxena made the submissions in her affidavit, in a suit filed by the Centre, seeking a decree of permanent injunction against the Netflix, Dharma Productions and others from broadcasting or releasing in theatres or any other digital platform the film ''Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl'', without grant of no-objection certificate (NOC) from it.
According to the Centre, the film which was streaming on Netflix, depicts the IAF in poor light and dents its image as it shows that the force is gender biased, which is not correct.
Saxena, in her affidavit filed before Justice Rajiv Shakdher, clarified that the movie is not a documentary but is only inspired by her life and it is clear from the two disclaimers placed at the beginning of the film which gives a message to motivate young women to join IAF.
"The Deponent (Saxena) does not claim that everything that is shown in the movie has happened with her in her real life. However, the deponent believes that the message sought to be conveyed through the movie is to motivate young women to join the Indian Air Force and, on a broader canvas, the aim is to inspire young women to pursue their dreams, not to doubt themselves and to work hard towards their goals," she said in the affidavit filed through advocate Aditya Dewan.

Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to stay the streaming of Netflix&nbsp;movie 'Gunjan Saxena &ndash; The Kargil Girl&rsquo; following the centre's concern that film depicts the Indian Air Force in bad light.
The court questioned the centre why they did not approach the court before the release of the film on the&nbsp;OTT&nbsp;platform.&nbsp;
The centre was informed that&nbsp;an injunction cannot be granted now as the film is already streaming.
The High Court has&nbsp;simultaneously&nbsp;sought a reply from&nbsp;Dharma Productions, Netflix on the Centre's concern and issued a notice to&nbsp;former Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena.
