The actor will reportedly portray the role of fashionista who belongs to a rich family. The character gets involved in an obscene scandal, and post that she leaves her family. As a result, the character takes the way to self-discovery. &nbsp;
As per reports, the series has a stellar cast besides Ananya, though all the details are yet to be disclosed.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Call Me Bae&rsquo; will go on floors by the end of the year and is expected to release in 2023.&nbsp;
The actor has worked with Dharma Productions earlier too. She made her debut with Student of the Year 2 and post that she was seen in Gehraiyaan and Liger.

Ace filmmaker Karan Johar seems to have landed himself in legal trouble ahead of the release of his film 'Jugjugg Jeeyo.' Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq has accused the filmmaker of stealing his song 'Nach Panjaban' in the forthcoming movie and calimed he has 'not sold' it to any Indian movie.
'I have not sold my song “ Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all. @DharmaMovies @karanjohar,' he tweeted. He further added that the would take legal action for the same. 'Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed to any one. If someone is claiming it , then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action. #NachPunjaban,' he tweeted.
The song features in the movie's trailer which was released on May 22. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in lead roles.
On the other hand, Vishal A Singh, a Chartered Accountant and creative producer of 2015 film 'Jazbaa,' accused Dharma Productions of stealing his script that he shared with them in 2020.'Had registered a story.. #BunnyRani with @swaindiaorg in January 2020.
