NASA's SpaceX Crew-5 returned to Earth on Saturday after a five-month stay aboard the International Space Station, livestreamed video broadcast by the US space agency showed.
The SpaceX "Endurance" capsule carried Koichi Wakata of Japan, Russian cosmonaut Anna Kikina, and NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada.
It splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico shortly after 9:00 PM (0200 GMT) off the west coast of Florida.
Crew-5, which launched from Florida's Cape Canaveral in early October 2022, was the fifth mission in space for Wakata and the first for Cassada, Kikina and Mann -- who also became the first Native American woman in space, NASA said.
Before leaving the ISS, Crew-5 were met by the successor Crew-6 mission members, who launched March 1 from Cape Canaveral.
Less than a week before that, a Soyuz rocket was launched from Kazakhstan to serve as a replacement for MS-22, another Russian vessel that was damaged while attached to the ISS.
The three members of MS-22, an American and two Russians, were originally scheduled to return in late March after about six months in space, but will now stay for almost a year.
Cooperation on the ISS has become one of the few remaining areas where the United States and Russia have continued to work together since Moscow invaded Ukraine over a year ago.

An American man was arrested upon touchdown at the Los Angeles airport for punching a flight attendant at the back of his head allegedly after an argument over the use of lavatory. 
As per a report by The Washington Post, the 33-year-old passenger was flying to Los Angeles from Los Cabos in Mexico on an American Airlines. The incident was captured by a fellow passenger on board flight 377 and posted on the micro-blogging site.

The video shot by a fellow passenger on board shows the flight attendant turning back and walking away when the accused runs up in the aisle and punches him in the head.&nbsp;

An American man was arrested at the Los Angeles airport for punching a flight attendant in the back of his head after an argument.&nbsp;
As per a report by The Washington Post, the 33-year-old passenger identified as Alexander Tung Cuu Le, a resident of California, was flying to Los Angeles from Los Cabos in Mexico on an American Airlines flight 377.&nbsp;
The episode began 20 minutes after Flight 377 left Los Cabos airport. Citing an affidavit filed by the FBI, the outlet said that Mr Le grabbed a flight attendant's shoulder as he was providing food and beverages and asked for coffee. He then walked to the front of the plant and sat in an unoccupied row near the first-class cabin, according to the affidavit. When another flight attendant asked Mr Le to return to his seat, he closed both of his fists and assumed a "fighting stance", the FBI said. The flight attendant then decided to report the behaviour to the pilot and turned around after which Mr Le attacked him, The New York Times reported.&nbsp;

Co-passengers, evidently shocked at the turn of event were heard crying 'Oh my god!' in the 33-second-long video.&nbsp;
According to The New York Times, the California man has been charged with one count of interference with flight crew members, and could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

In a development raising questions about India's civil aviation safety, over 40 flight crew members failed their pre-flight alcohol tests in the first 4 months of this year. These included 9 pilots and 32 cabin crew members.
At least 2 pilots and 2 cabin crew members tested alcohol positive for the second time, leading to a 3-year suspension. The others were suspended for 3 months as it was their first offence.
The offenders included pilots and cabin-crew members of IndiGo, Go First, SpiceJet, Air India Express, AirAsia India, Vistara, Alliance Air, and Air India.
In April, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Indian watchdog, had said that airlines must ensure that 50 per cent of their cockpit and cabin-crew members are subjected to pre-flight alcohol tests on a daily basis.
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, all crew members had to undergo alcohol tests.

Drunk: Over 40 pilots, cabin crew of Indian airlines failed alcohol test in Jan-April; 4 repeat offenders, says DGCA

The offenders included pilots and cabin-crew members of IndiGo, Go First, SpiceJet, Air India Express, AirAsia India, Vistara, Alliance Air, and Air India.

In a development raising questions about India's civil aviation safety, over 40 flight crew members failed their pre-flight alcohol tests in the first 4 months of this year. These included 9 pilots and 32 cabin crew members.
At least 2 pilots and 2 cabin crew members tested alcohol positive for the second time, leading to a 3-year suspension. The others were suspended for 3 months as it was their first offence.
The offenders included pilots and cabin-crew members of IndiGo, Go First, SpiceJet, Air India Express, AirAsia India, Vistara, Alliance Air, and Air India.
In April, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Indian watchdog, had said that airlines must ensure that 50 per cent of their cockpit and cabin-crew members are subjected to pre-flight alcohol tests on a daily basis.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, all crew members had to undergo alcohol tests.
