&lsquo;Black Adam&rsquo;, DC&rsquo;s latest superhero film, has reportedly been banned in China, which is the single-largest overseas market for Hollywood movies. Many fan forums state that the reason for the ban is actor Pierce Brosnan&rsquo;s past comments on Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama.
It all started on the forums of BoxOfficeTheory.com, where an industry insider by the username Isaac Newton claimed that &lsquo;Black Adam&rsquo; will not release in Chinese theaters. Someone then reasoned in the thread that the film has not been given permission to release due to Pierce&rsquo;s meeting with the Dalai Lama.
In an interview with GQ last month, Pierce Brosnan told an anecdote about a meeting with the spiritual leader Dalai Lama and praised him.
In the past, several other films have been prevented from being released in China for similar reasons.
No official announcement has been made regarding the same.

The conversation between the two started when Dwayne took to Twitter and thanked his Indian fans for all the love and urged them to watch his film 'Black Adam'. Reposting the tweet, Varun wrote, 'Let&rsquo;s goo finally gonna get to see my hero back on big screen @TheRock #BlackAdam.'.&nbsp;
The Rock noticed Varun&rsquo;s tweet and replied to him. &nbsp;He addressed Varun as &lsquo;brotha&rsquo;, &nbsp;and wrote, 'Thank you my brotha! Can&rsquo;t wait for you to see the film. 15 long years of fighting to get this made. Well worth the wait. Let me know what you think and keep kickin ass.'
Varun Dhawan again replied to the tweet and expressed his desire to meet him as he has been his fan since last 25 years. 'DJ &amp; VD - one day 25 years in the making&hellip;&hellip;.Finally', he tweeted.&nbsp;
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next feature in 'Bhediya' along with Kriti Sanon. The film will hit the theatres on November 25.

Sharing a picture on Instagram, 'Jumanji' actor told fans&nbsp;that he ripped off his gate from the wall in order to avoid getting late to film shooting.
Revealing that the recent storm caused a power outage, causing the gate at his home to not open, Dwayne said he basically brought out his inner Black Adam as he did not want&nbsp;hundreds of crew members waiting.
