<p>Jio Cinema has finally announced the premiere date of Bigg Boss OTT, season 3, to be hosted by Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor. The OTT platform made the official announcement on Thursday, along with a new poster. In their announcement, the streamer introduced Anil Kapoor as the new host for Bigg Boss OTT 3!!</p>
<h3><strong>Anil Kapoor replaces Salman Khan&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>The first edition of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, while the OG, Salman Khan, returned to the host's chair for the second instalment. After many speculations, it was recently confirmed Anil Kapoor will be hosting the third season of the popular digital show.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>About contestants&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>As for the contestants, rumours are swirling about potential contenders; however, an official announcement is yet to be made. According to sources, talks are underway with Tanushree Dutta, Ushmey Chakraborty, Ahana Deol, Trishala Dutt, and Bhavya Gandhi, among others. Recently, it was also reported that Kriti Sanon's sister, Nupur Sanon, has also been approached for the show.&nbsp;</p>

While fans will miss watching Salman Khan as the host of the popular reality show, there were several reports about the possible name replacing the actor. Jio Cinema has finally raised the curtains and introduced the new host in their new promo.&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Anil Kapoor is the new boss&nbsp;</h2>
<p>Sharing the first promo of the show, Jio Cinema officially announced the new host of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT. Anil Kapoor will be seen instead of Salman Khan as the host of the popular show. The 25-second-long promo features Kapoor along with the clips of previous seasons in the background. While the face of the veteran actor was not revealed, the voice and the silhouette make it clear that the new host is none other than Anil Kapoor. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Giving a glimpse of the new host, Jio Cinema wrote in the caption, &ldquo;A new host for the new season of Bigg Boss OTT! Aur Bigg Boss ki tarha, inki awaaz hi kaafi hai. <p>Anil Kapoor&rsquo;s daughter and actor Sonam Kapoor expressed her excitement on social media. Sharing the promo on her story, she wrote, &ldquo;They&rsquo;ve got the most talented, hardworking and handsome man onboard !&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Salman Khan gives Bigg Boss OTT a miss&nbsp;</h2>
<p>The OG Bigg Boss host and fans&rsquo; all-time favourite Salman Khan is reportedly giving this season a miss due to his shooting schedule. The actor will reportedly be busy with the preparations for his next film &lsquo;Sikandar&rsquo; and hence denied the hosting job.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Bigg Boss OTT&rsquo;s first season was hosted by Karan Johar while Salman Khan took over hosting in the second season. Divya Agarwal bagged the winner&rsquo;s trophy in its first season and Elvish Yadav was the winner in the second season. Fans remain excited to watch a fiery and fun season of the reality show.</p>
